This is very, very , exciting! I'm so happy the RuneScape team is exploring HTML5 and is greatly expanding it's rendering technologies to make the game look and perform exceedingly well. I'm a video game design student, and I fully appreciate all the hard work that goes in to RuneScape, you guys almost make it seem effortless! From first hand experience, I can assure everyone who plays RuneScape that making video games and developing ground-breaking technologies is extremely difficult, and takes a lot of time and effort. I'm so proud to see my membership is going towards such a passionate and determined company! Good on you, Jagex and the RuneScape team, I can't wait to see what comes next!

So it's just being renamed to Runescape 3 for hardly any reason at all? No restart or wipes? How worthless. That state EoC is in is trash. The economy is garbage. The only thing that can save this game is a complete wipe of the main game and a MUCH better bot detection. The materials in the game are so inflated whereas products are worthless. I don't mind the new updates and evolution. It's the economy that ruined this game.

So, are you going to listen to the beta testers the way you listened about eoc (as in you listened to NOTHING unless it was praise)? If so, it isn't worth even logging on to the beta.

Truly a shame what you have done to this once enjoyable game.
