Those poor F2p pkers
We've still got about a week, maybe it will still get that 4% it needs!
(and I still can't believe anyone is even voting No for the roof option)


Also, for future polls...can we INCREASE the level needed to vote?
100 takes a couple hours at most if you do skills like WC****, Fishing, and Cooking
And I get the feeling that a mix of the "No" votes are people just clicking no for everything in hopes of swaying the poll (or when bigger updates start getting polled, they might be the ones trying to vote "Yes" to get bad updates)

I think in order to be able to vote for content in the OS servers, they should actually take the time to PLAY the OS servers, so a higher total requirement would be better. Everything's an integrity issue if you troll enough.

Why was the choice for f2p worlds even put in the poll?? It won't in anyway negatively effect anyone (as I will shortly point out) and there was always a huge chance stupid trolls will jeopardise it! (And that's exactly what's happening :@ )

I don't really mind about most of the changes the poll suggests, but some of them would be good. But I do really want is f2p-styled worlds for pking. Yes, it would be better if there was a whole separate free to play option where by players didn't have to pay for the use of Old-School RS if they didn't want to, but for myself and HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of pkers and clanners, we really want f2p type worlds so that we have at least the OPTION to pk without things such as dds, ice barrage, d-bow, smite etc.

There is absolutely NO reason why people wouldn't want f2p worlds, other than just to annoy the people that do want them.

-"It will stop people from pking in p2p" -- It won't stop people who actually WANT to pk in p2p to do so, and if f2p worlds aren't introduced, many clanners/pkers who do want f2p worlds will most likely quit, and so that really will stop them from ever pking in p2p!

-"If you want f2p worlds go to EOC" -- We don't just want f2p worlds, we want 2007-type f2p worlds, that's why we are here...

-"We don't want f2p type worlds, we want a proper f2p option" -- There's a much bigger chance the 2007 servers will eventually have a f2p option if they become popular enough. As said above, if f2p worlds don't come out, it will make many people quit, making 2007scape more unpopular, reducing the chance of us ever getting a proper f2p option.

tldr; f2p worlds hurt no one, and help everyone if they are actually thought through.

I didnt read your post in detail but got the gist, i think. I have also seen in passing that many other ppl have posted about and feel strongly about it.
I voted "no" to the PK question (and I almost wish now that I could go back and change it).
The reason I voted no is cos I was MADE to vote on ALL points one way or the other. Had I been allowed to I would have left it blank and let those to whom it concerns make the decision. I have never Pk'd and didnt understand the implications of voting yes or no.
I havent the time or inclination to look into the issue so that I could make an informed choice-and NO seemed the lesser of two evils for some reason.

I wonder if it is because of ppl like myself being forced to vote on stuff that doesnt concern us, in order that we can vote on things we want to, that may be having an affect on the % outcome.

This is precisely why I support either an abstain botton or the option to not answer some points

I think most people voting no to the F2P option don't know what they're voting on. They either think it makes OSRS F2P or don't even know what oldschool pvp is because they weren't around back then. Besides, I agree that F2P PKing shouldn't even be a poll, like more things in this poll, because it was around in 2007, and a major part of the game (also for members) at that.

Jagex if you kill f2p clanning, which with the way the poll is going seems pretty damn likely, myself and many others are gone. I re subbed after quitting the moment EoC was released, I want my old game back. F2P pking was a huge part of my runescape...and runescape is so very different for each and every player. This change negatively effects no one. Don't like them? dont log into them. Simple as.

Many players in the high-level community quit due to the changes you made to the core game, many have returned from hibernation to join there old clans which have re-opened -SOLELY- for 07scape. F2P clanning is a type of "end-game" for many players. They will all be gone if you dont release these.... my friends list is acually ONLINE again. Dont ruin this. Please.

THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO RELEASE THEM.

Not 1 legit reason, aside from uninformed responses. The people saying no have some WILD things to say, hell im pretty sure most of them didnt even understand the question.

Unfortunately if u see Mod Nexus' Thread "devblog wk 3..." alittle way down in post 1, it seems there is a leaning not to have "abstain" in some form :(

However, Im sure I read somewhere that just because a certain poll didnt reach the required 75% that didnt mean that it would never be looked at again.

I hope that you, and others like you, get to enjoy the parts of the game that makes it fun for you. And if it doesnt pass this time...I promise to vote yes should it be in another Poll ;)

Plus...Uve swayed me-there's still 6 more voting days...praps u can sway others? :)

This isn't like an election where returns come in from areas with different political affiliations. I watched the numbers yesterday and they barely budged.

It was 71% 12 hours ago, and it is still 71%. The chances of it reaching 75% at this point are close to zero.

But as many people have pointed out, this *never should have been subject to a poll at all*. The addition of these worlds has no negative impact on anyone who doesn't want to use them. The votes against them are entirely selfish and spiteful, and I say this as someone who never PKs.
