You can even use the right-click report option on players to help with awkward names and those who've not said anything recently.

This report option is an absolute horrid idea, and the whole poll we had on old school Runescape would atleast consult the members and majority rule? Who's bright idea was it to put the report option? Moronic thing to do and things like this ultimately lead to the downfall of things like EOC, updates that aren't well thought out will lead to the demise of this game once more.

The people should be encouraged to be reporting macroers or whatever, but to leave it as an option? That's not important at all it's not anywhere close usefulness like Walk/Follow/Trade.

Updates like this scare me, knowing the 07 scape was going to be "For the People" yet we still have you geniuses trying to improve the game. -News flash, those same people who tried to improve ruined this game for all the people on 07 servers.

For those who've mentioned the right-click report option and voting.

The reason this and the rule change and stance on gambling did not have a poll was because this is a policy change and as such has been applied to both games. If it changed on RuneScape and didn't on '07 there'd be an influx of hosts which I'm sure no one wants and then we'd have 2 sets of rules which would get further out of sync depending on which game you're playing.

I'm not saying we won't make the right-click reporting option toggleable like RuneScape, but for the interim it's an option that's here to stay.

About 6 years? Seriously EOC will not be coming to OldSchool. It's just not possible.


Also whilst I'm at it, Death to the Dorgeshuun will be in the next update, today's update was to make the changes necessary that accompany the rules and gambling changes.

Take off the rightclick report option, bad idea.
Hmm, I can only think of one group that would be hurt by the right click update. That´s the type of players that would make up an unintelligible name, with the express purpose of being hard-to-get-reported.

Thanks for making it easier to help us weed out the cheaters, jagex.
Isn't it strange that so many players blindly apply to clans, without ever wondering why there are openings in that clan?

I think some people are over-reacting about the right click report.

IT IS GOOD.

Why do you all think making it easier to report bots is bad?

For instance, there are names with '-' in them. Go ahead. Try and type his name into the report screen. Guess what. You can't.

I'm led to believe that all those that are opposed to the right click reporting are opposed because they're rule breakers themselves.
Unless somebody can explain the logic behind it to me.

Exactly this, take note. ****ult us first before making any bold movements. Let the people have a voice too..

They asked us for feedback via forums, but as for the report opt, I guess it's not an issue but a toggle would be nice.
