What a nonsense.

Tunnel vision, narrow-gauge-thinking, blinkers are the words i just got in my mind.
Instead of wasting energy for such lastly foredoomed project please self-critical analyze _why_ so much people are crying for old school RS, think about how good (or how bad) new content fall into place with old content and how to fix.

I personal think you hear the community but you don't really understand what lastly caused many of us to cry.

I was generally referring to the -1 old bounty hunter worlds, as well as to the two high-risk worlds in the new-old wilderness. However, Dragon Claws were released in November 2008 according to RSwiki, so that is about when PvP worlds were released as well, as far as I remember. Again, I've never PKed in craters on my main account, just on my pures (ice blitz to gmaul!!!!!!!!!!!@!@!).

Hi, my original name is Ant-Monster. I'm an RS veteran. I was here since 2001 until EoC. I've given hundreds of hours and dollars to this game. With that said, I respectfully say the following...

Is there anyways we can keep our current stats & money at the very least!? I prefer my entire bank despite the items that were not originally in 2007scape.

And from the sounds of it, in order for me to vote... I have to purchase membership. With that said, back in my day membership was only $5.00 FLAT! I'ma be charged what..? Like $7.00? Dude.... I understand the 2007 servers & dev team needs founding. But I've already founded yall my entire teenage life, so you guys can just ignore us and make preventable mistake. I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship or something lol. And when you cheated on me(EoC), I left you(RuneScape).

My point is this. Why should I pay to VOTE, if the outcome isn't truly worth it (reset stats & bank for a mistake on your behalf). Why can't yall put RS3/EoCrap development on pause for a moment. And allow the current dev team to work on 07scape, and once it's launched then hire additional staff?

You guys had thousands if not millions of players practically pleading on their knees to scrap EoC. Or to at least wait a lil bit longer before you launched it.

I don't know man, I just don't know.

Just wondering if there is a plan for free-to-play and pay-to-pay worlds even if we have to pay to play both free and paid versions of the 2007 server.

I myself enjoy the free-to-play game much more then i do the pay-to-play.

done the math on mod mmg's claim of 8,229,459 unique active players in the last 14 days. there are 58,000 active players right now, lets be generous and say there an average of 100,000 players at any given time of day (an average of about 900 players on every server).
this means that to make the claimed number of average players, the average playing time can be no more than 4.5 hours total over the entire 14 day period, which leads me to call BS. it would make sense if that were unique connections - people playing a couple of hours a day then again the next day with a slightly different IP assigned by dhcp - but unique logins? come on!

Well I stopped playing runescape in terms of in-game content.

Everything was just getting to easy in terms on training skills, yes they were alternative methods but nonetheless easy alternatives.

The you introduced EOC... That was enough for me. :(

If you are telling that we can play the old 2007 game, then yes I am in. This is a familiar gameplay to me and one I would rather pay for than the current one I still am.

As a much older member of the community I miss it just being all the old content, now it's way to busy and so much is going on.

I much preferred old runescape before a lot of these new update!

P.s: does that mean no more livid farm? Hallelujah!!! ^_^

Yes! Jagex please make for us Old School RuneScape RS2 servers/game with old content, old x1hit, old animation, old models, old graphics, all old as it was 2004-2007.
Best Time in Old RuneScape was for us 2006-2007.
RS2 players want to play a game that has been in 2004-2007, without new content.
We liked to play to RuneScape RS2 2004-07.
Many old players left the game RuneScape, and they went to play on the old private servers.
RuneScape for all this time lost a very lot of players.

We all remember the old players, as in 2006-2007, in a game played 240k-280k + players every day.

It was the best golden age in the history of the game RuneScape.
We(old RuneScape players RS2 2004-2007) all miss that time and wait already 6 years.
