I agree that this poll again has some controversial issues surrounding it. Yes, fine the last big poll done was ridiculous because of anyone being able to vote for it.
However this poll will just be as bad and you are contradicting yourselves. You say you want veterans back to play the game however most of the veterans who you are trying to get back, QUIT(but are willing to come back with this). Meaning they QUIT their membership as well. These are now f2p and you're disallowing anyone who are f2p to actually vote.
As this update is an add on to your game and not a replacement for your new content, it seems unfair you are virtually making it impossible to get 50k+ votes for this and inevitably making people pay $15(A $5-$10 fee would be perfect) or not bringing it back at all. You will then say "players didn't want it back" to back up your decision not to bring it back.
Starting people off from scratch is ridiculous as well, it seems as if your company is trying to make this proposition of return of old servers so unattractive that no one really wants to vote. Then you're going to come out and say 'we listened to the players but you voted against it, so we will crack on and make runescape the best game for you' which is again complete bs.
Either let people transfer their acc over without the post-2007 items and eliminate all the post-2007 skills/minigames etc... or give people bonus xp within the first month(5x or 10x would work). (they'd still have everything on the main game)
If you're not going to make this vote fair, you will lose the members who's faith in jagex is currently on a cliff edge.
What i propose is 1 vote per ip address rather than 1 vote per members account, letting both members and f2p vote. It can be fixed to an extent but so can the current proposal(month free member reward scheme). You guys know how to make a fair vote so i suggest you do that, if you don't you will ruin your game more so than you already have done.
