Glad to see you guys bringing back a 2007 version.

I'm just afraid you're not accounting for many players who would pay membership fees for the server but will not be able to vote because they quit due to the EOC.

$15 is quite a bit of money tho..even tho I want old servers. That's *180/year. That's a little too expensive in my books.

Woah. Okay, all well and good...but does this additional membership cost - should you get only ~50,000 votes - apply to everyone? Even if they're not that bothered either way?
I'd love to see these servers, but that is a lot of money a month just for the novelty.
Will there be a separate membership package that allows for a choice - current RS only or 2007 and current RS?

1. DON'T MAKE THIS POLL P2P ONLY, think about ppl who left this game because EoC and they can't vote for this because this is p2p only.

2. It's cool that you guys try to get oldschool players back.. but if this poll gets "only" 50k-250k votes, the extra 15$ is way too much...
I pay like 6euros/month for this game, but if i would have to pay like 20 euros/month... You guys don't know how angry i would be..

3. Why it's only 2007? why there can't be 2010,2012 too? I'd love if the pvp/bh world (with statue drops) would come back.. it was just so amazing

I will still vote yes for this one.. Never liked EoC and i'm 99% sure that i will not like it in future.

Hate to be cynical but unless you have fixed the way the polls work it will be as phoney as the Wildy/FT poll where it could be spam voted and you had already decided to return it anyway, was just for the hype. I think you have already decided to bring it back.

That said I don't mind, I know alot of people would want this. I like the way the game is going so as long as this version doesn't suffer because of the return of old school I'd be happy to see it come back.

I don't believe it, there were tons of threads wanted 2007/2006 rs back and now we have the group begging for 2009. Can't ever make this community happy.

Edit: btw, you already raised my Legacy membership price by saying that unless I bought premium I wouldn't have full access to any betas.

Jagex.. don't do this please. People won't miss the old RuneScape after playing this for a while and will miss the live game and get bored of the 2007 server because of no new content, It's a waste of time and no one would want to start from scratch anyways. Look at RuneScape Classic, 100 players online maximum? It's because people get bored of doing the same things over and over - no new content on it, no new exciting updates to look forward to, just the same old game. We all got used to the Evolution of Combat, so this is also bad timing, don't bring old servers.. just leave the game as it is.

Awesome just done some checking of dates,

No godwars - fantastic. I loved when barrows/dragon were the best. Ags was overpowered.

We have altars - Can train prayer without it being stupidly slow.

No claws - Awesome, no more claw rushers

Old hit system - No hitting 800s, 10000s. Back to the old double digit hits. 20/30s maybe 40s.
