As much as i like this idea it wont be like 2007 at all, the game had 7 or so years previous for the market to formulate and rares were the main source behind it. If it's a fresh start server how will rares and discontinued items be distributed?

really why bring 2007 back ? vote polls will be fake by many account name makers ? this wont be fair to the people that don't want this in the gameplay .
why not just delete eoc and bring pking and special weapons back in the game no need to make a 2007 server .... there is really no point in doing that people say wauw yes !! but did not play rs since 2007 .... and i think you will lose more and more players if doing this just like you have deleted pking and special weapons buying third age kite on GE 71mil , please add right street price if i'm wrong * ty

Yes, we have made substantial upgrades to our data centres since 2007, today all our facilities now have DDoS protection.

@RuneDragneel Are you crazy? You want to pay more for less? Why? If we reach the a higher amount votes they will add anti-bot protection. Let's face without that the game will suck. plain and Simple. If bots aren't monitored RuneScape will be overran by them and everything becomes 10x more difficult to do.

If we don't achieve at least 250k votes the servers will be dead, I can already see it. Many people will have a problem paying upwards of $20 a month for a game with no updates or anti-bot protection.

I'm more than happy to play 2007scape without updates but for $25 AUD I'll stick to playing old school RS free by other means.

@Titoet I have played before 07 this is my third guy I started late 04. I am really excited about being able to play 07 scape and I know many other vets are too.
