while i can only suport any change of the old game coming back, what players wanted was for the game to go back to pre-eoc (maybe without micro-payments),
not a 5 year old outdated server, WHERE WE HAVE TO START FROM LVL 3.

this is just adding insult to injury, you forced us to play eoc, and now you give us the "choice" of of going back to a shell of the former game, for probaly 15 euro a month, i cant believe that there are no game-backups from last year, and if that rly is the case, then atleast let us transfer our skills and bank, it was possible for the eoc-beta, so i cant see why not for this.

and comparing a member only poll to free players poll for free trade back in the days is another thing, why dont you just install the first choice of the game right now.

that all being sayd i will probaly vote yes on new servers, tho with all the above i dont think i will play it alot.

Lovely that you guys as Jagex finaly listen to the players.

But there is one big problem with the voting...
Only members can vote, but the people that are still a member like the EOC, so they don't necesairly want the old servers back as others that set this all up.
I have been member for over 6 years but have quit after the EOC because I didn't like it. I'd love to play the old game again but now I can't vote.
So I think there should be a way where people that have been a member before can vote for this. Because it won't show how many people support this, and not people will subscribe just to vote, because it will take the time before this server will be up.

Also I want to address that paying extra membership for these servers isn't how it should be.
This means that if I want to play the new server I pay for the EOC + the new server.
I would love to do that but alot of others won't.

lol @ all these people saying stuff like "should have been 2011" or "should be making it 2009," etc... There is a reason they aren't bringing back the runescape that we remember from 1 day before the release of Eoc, the point is for it to have that classic feel. 2007 is the perfect year for this and i hope they don't change it just because of some people not having an appreciation for what it was. support, but keep it in 2007.

Just why not? My favorite year was 2006-2007, actually I don't know about 2007 August, but I think it will be fun! Also I enjoyed 2009 a lot, because at that time I became a member for first time. Everything was so interesting!

This is great news for those who wanted to play the old runescape! Although I'm not going to play the 2007 version, i'm still going to vote YES! on the poll. Amazing idea and great for the runescape community!

Plzzz jagex and give uss and xp lamp with all the xp we have got from before and let uss choose a skill to use it on and then we get ur skills back or somthing like that, i not wanna loose my skills. plzzzzzz
