Hello guys.
so does the mean that my current account wpnt be able to log into the old version of rs and continue to play in the past. will i have to start all over again from the start and redo EVERYTHING?
or ill i have all my cash and items and such

Currently RS has about 1,857,000 members. Assuming the opportunity to vote draws in a good number of people, I can certainly see this vote passing at the highest level. Only time will tell if the nostalgia factor and new competitiveness/economy will keep up interest in the old servers, or if they'll blow over in a few months. Personally, I like the idea of making a new account in the old game. Getting all teary-eyed already.

My faith has been restored in Jagex. This and recent updates has shown that they are starting to stand by their promise and are acknowledging players feedback. I will continue to play on and support the live severs, but I will also sign up to the old to relive the 'old days' of scape. I hope is that Jagex will learn from their mistakes and deal with botting and gold selling before they destroy the economy and ultimately the game itself.

Jagex you must not give in to those wanting *tat*/items transferred but keep it so all players start out at level 3!

Why?

- Fair Start
-Gives time for all players to contribute to the economy
- Encourages growth due to the rarity of items at the beginning
- Players are saying how many will quit due to the lack of items and trade but this will honestly teach players to be more patient and to value a positive economy since RS2's current one is over inflated.
- By transferring over items/stats you are basically adding "Discontinued Rares" in the sense that many players will make millions and even billions by using their skill/item advantage compared to others.

If you give players the opportunity to transfer items/stats you are allowing that effect to re-occur on this new retro server. Please don't allow the 07's economy to be effected by the transfer of player stats/items!
