I enjoy both versions of the game but getting 2006-2007 back would be a huge flashback. Jagex you will not regret this you will definitely get alot of old Runescape players hopefully some legends return and we can have the old community which we loved so much. Really love this!

Guys. They said if we get MORE than a certain amount of votes, MEMBERSHIP will be FREE. for these Pre-Eoc Servers. They're basing these really high goals on the "Wild and Free Trade" Vote, which recieved 1.5 MILLION votes.


Obviously, there isn't 1.5 Million people playing RuneScape at any given time. Back in 2006-2008 era, there was 500 thousand people online, at any given time. Every world possible was filled to the brim with players.


Go to Google, Search "Google Trends" Search "RuneScape"
Look at the given chart, and see for yourself. RuneScape is dying, not because of the EoC. Why though?....

The EoC didn't "Kill" RuneScape. It merely helped it die. Maybe it's to late to turn this thing around, and patch it up. I hope this vote that starts THIS FRIDAY...Surpasses ATLEAST 250k votes. I'd be glad if it did. I cannot afford $15 a month for it. I hope you guys can turn the statistics into ancient facts, and prove all of us doubters wrong.

Hi all,

This is a very smart move indeed. First it will kill off all those Private Servers. If people are informed correctly about this and Jagex can find a way to reach those old vets, then we have hell on Earth. Servers will be crowded again. That's for sure!

I think it would be very nice if Runescape 2006/2007 can be restored with the old gear as well. Old armor sets, old weapons and so on. Most important is that we have an oppurtunity to set higher resolutions because hardware has changed a lot since 2007.

For me it's no problem at all to start all over again. I do this with love!

I will be back with another post later on. I have some brilliant ideas wich i never mentioned but for this occasion i will be sharing them soon.

Half of you didn't even play in 2007, and the rest think that it will bring back a sense of nostalgia. I can absolutely guarantee that more than half of the players of this new 2007 joke will quit within 5 months. Jagex, listen to reason, the people who dislike the eoc don't realize that they hate this game now, simply because of EoC. Please make it 2012, prior the to barrage null glitch and maybe even 2011 prior to armor changes. please do these things to make runescape the way it should be.

Regardless of what you said about you valuing members voices more, it's obviously for money which is highly unfair. For you to use the 1.4 million votes as a contrast to the upcoming poll i think you're being dishonest if you think we'll get anywhere near that whilst you arn't allowing free players to vote. We both know the majority of the people who actually wan'* these servers are currently not members because you took their game away from them, so as a result they cancelled their membership.

I'll tell you one thing, seeing as it's all about money now that Andrew.G isn't here. You will make a larger sum if you give us level 4 of what you've stated in the long run instead of forcing people to get membership now just to vote. Above all else, you will gain huge respects from the community who once looked up to Jagex because they gave us what we wan'* and actually cared and listened for what we wanted.

I'm excited about the servers coming back don't get me wrong, i just think the numbers are abit too high given the fact the majority who actually want the servers back do not currently have membership.

You're expecting way to much for this.. you expect 3x the current ammount of players to bring it back, And the most plausible ammount of votes we'll get is around 50-80thousand now even accounting for that it's going to be 15 dollars or more a month as an ADDITIONAL FEE ??? Come on now bro you just took withdrew 50million out of jagex LTD and you cant give us back the game you destroyed you sicken me sir. YOU SICKEN ME

I am a member and you already have one 'NO' vote.
It is ridicoulus (or how you write it) to invest in the past. Eoc is not finished and shoudl recieve your FULL dedicatement. And no,even if you get a team to work on the 2007 you could still have those staff members to work on eoc.
