I SEE WE WILL HAVE TO START FRESH.. BUT I HAVE MANY OTHER QUESTIONS IM SURE MANY PEOPLE WILL WANT TO KNOW/ASKING/ - NOT THINKING OF RIGHT NOW.

1 - DOES THIS MEAN WE CAN CREATE ALL NEW NAMES FOR THESE 07 SERVERS?
2 - WILL THE OLD HOLIDAY & GENERAL EVENTS FROM BACK THEN RE-OCCUR?

THATS ALL FOR NOW.. BUT ADD ON ANYONE.. THOSE ARE MY 2 CONCERNS.. NOW.

THANKS AGAIN ALL THOSE WHO WORK FOR JAGEX EVEN GIVING US A CHANCE TO BRING OLD 07 RS BACK & TO ALL THE PLAYERS WHO SUPPORT IT. REALLY EXCITED.. CANT WAIT.

omg thats right no party hats no discontinued items... no rares...

man that alone might be a reason to vote yes..

remember every one will have a clean slate... meaning no one will have any item... seeing the party hats stop way before 2007... then there will be no one wearing the damm things thinking they are king poo poo's....... sweetness.....

AS a matter of fact, per the 500,000 ARMY of WHINERS for the illegal ps that was shut down and Wreckers 50,000, there will be 0 censorship.

I am very happy that Jagex is taking this kind of initiative to improve the player experience.

What pleases me the most about this, is how they're going about implementing it. It will not affect anyone who plays current RS at all, and will run independent from the other servers. That is the absolute best way this could have been done, and I am very proud that Jagex is making this kind of move.

I fully support this move, and can't wait for the coming weeks for RuneScape.

HeIIy this version was owned of much stupid bot users in each language server. I continued to play. So much updates made more than 500 people from my friendslist quit rs. I continued to play. So much fun killer updates come and go and i continued with play, because i hoped always that jagex will make bugfixes, and take care about each language community part of this RS version. Doe you know how much i was disapointed about this all? I Hope if people restart on 2007 version and i hope they will like it, we don't have again all this much fails who people maid in this RS version again on 2007. We can choose. Whe should use the chance for a good restart and we don't lose here anything. What should stop us to play both game versions if we get really 750 k people to a yes vote? Nothing! The eoc like people continue to play this rs version. The eoc oponents receive a rs version with old combat system and most people who disliked all updates after middle of 2007 can now enjoy again. And now i go off here, i had much posts seen and return later.

Hope to see you people on 2007 server. :)

I'm having a few mixed feelings about this :/
I love Runescape and 2006 is when I first started playing. Been waiting for an announcement of these servers for a long time so its amazing to see jagex taking initiative to actually give the community what they want. However, I am a little sad about not being able to transfer my stats over :c . Not asking to transfer my items nor my cash. I've grinded so long just to get my skills up on the main game and it would be sad to see my time and effort go to waste when I start playing the 2007 servers (if they do in fact go live). Not sure if its even possible or if it would undermine the 'nostalgic' feel of the old servers but I do wish to transfer my xp over to the New (old?) game servers if possible. Heck, I would even be willing to pay a one time fee to transfer my xp. Please please please take this into consideration jagex! I really dont want to see my efforts that i put diligently into my skills go to waste :c Besides the 'starting fresh' idea, I LOVE the fact that you guys are listening to the community!

Tl;Dr: I want my xp to transfer, not items or cash
