I am not particularly interested. RuneScape is the best it's ever been and I'd rather Jagex focus their time and resources on the main game rather then cater to fairweather friends. I bet most people who try it will realize how much better the new RuneScape is and stop playing the "Old School RuneScape".

If Jagex does release a separate "old school" server, I want to see an extra membership fee attributed to its use (which will, of course, not apply to those who will not use it), so that its existence and maintenance does not affect the standard game.

that means all weapons and armour would have significant prices attached to them as no one would have say 84 craft for black d hide or 85 slay to get a whip

For people asking for a different version i.e. 2008, 2011 etc. Check what MMG said in the post

Which means this is the only backup they have of the game.
