YUSSS! Never leaving Runescape again now! You have outdone yourselves Jagex! Way to go! You won probably half of the veterans who quit back! Best Runescape news post i have seen in my whole entire life. Bravo! Keep up the new and old updates, i'll love them both!

Seeing rampant mod abuse on forums, though there seems to be one in particular having a field day locking up threads. Also, I doubt this will get past Stage 1 seeing as there are less than 5k posts at this time. Old RS is dead, let it rest in peace.

750k votes or else this will fail, because I doubt even half the people here are willing to renew their membership and pay an additional fee just for the 2007 servers. Unless Jagex lowers the number of votes required significantly, this is a no go. Sorry to say.

I can hardly believe that this is real. I never thought I'd be saying this again but, THANK YOU JAGEX!

This is an almost perfect time for me in the game. According to the Wiki, the last full RS backup was the 10th of August, 2007. This means no GWD; and as much as I would have loved some of the original Bandos armour, I can do without it.

awesome , this is great why doesnt jagex do what they did when RS2 came out from rsc give us same stats etc able to trade items over 1 time etc..
better yet why wasnt there an option like this when eoc came out? we could have chosen what we rather play?... then you would have seen what everybody really wanted.... people have quit and maybe think about coming back highly doubt it since alot dont care what happens now.... starting from fresh no one that quit will play agian ... who would pay extra to start fresh and have to get what its taken some 10 years to get right now...? i know this will be lost in spam but just some food for thought

For people saying it's just because everybody's nostalgic about it, most of the people who are going to vote 'yes' are probably doing so because it is a better game overall.

Runescape has evolved into a horrible mangled mess of terrible features, and some excellent features and additions that I believe should have been present for much longer. Personally, I feel that 2007 was almost literally the best time period for Runescape.

People claiming it will waste Jagex's money/take away from the main game: Hiring a dedicated team for the 2007 servers would be fairly negligible compared to the costs of updating the game as it is. With the 2007 servers, they would likely only need programmers. No artists and no writers, two very expensive jobs that are required for the current Runescape. If anything, it will make them MORE money to update the game that you know/don't know and love/hate :)
