Are there enough members to hit targets?

As a private business, we don’t publish our membership numbers, but RuneScape is still one of the largest MMORPGs in the world and we have set targets for this poll that we know to be credible. The top target is a stretch goal, as it would need overwhelming support from the community to attain.

Meaning this is a complete waste of time because you dont care about the people that pay your weekly salaries. I 100% support having the old game back but when you set unrealistic tagets like this and at peek runescape had 400k - 500k people playing at one time back in 07 now its down to 80k - 90k people at most !!! even if half were bots thats still 200k - 250k online players playing back in the good ol days of RS that's a far cry from the 80k - 90k people playing now and there ARE STILL TONS OF BOTS with those numbers !!! Jagex Fail stop misleading people and post proper stats and listen to the people that quit the game due to your pathetic mistakes over the past 5 years

Good job Jagex you will see old players coming back and satisfying their nostalgic thirst. Eventually i see people growing tired of a stagnate game and see all the epic shininess of EOC servers and come back to the main game. I for one am excited for a chance to a new runescape experience much like the old knight or zezmia as everyone tries to strive for their ultimate runescape goal at the same time!

I support the old 2007 servers i played growing up as a kid (18 now) this will truly be a return to part of my childhood.

I also support the EOC you guys put forth and have faith in great developments in the future. Unfortunately though i have found my self grow tired of the daily grind of runescape and being surpassed every time i achieve. I plan on canceling my membership (something i have NEVER done since the day i fell in love with you game back in 2006) since i haven't played for more than a hour at a time for well more than a year.

I want you all to know at Jagex studios that I love you all and have a deep place in my heart for your masterpiece. It seems like i have more of a desire to go out to shows with my friends or hang out with them on a daily basis rather than getting that much closer to a 99 or a shiny expensive piece of armour.

I am excited for a chance to start fresh as an adult and not as an 11 year old child. I hope for 500k members come back to vote so i can play oldschool as i dont see myself paying to play.

Something i hope for is a revival of the old community. A community that was kind generous and helpful. The community i see today are a bunch of spoiled brats or kids who think their too good to talk to you and call other player EXP waste. The community is all conserned about the achievement and not the journey of finding lasting relationship and finding fun in little aspects of the game. I am sad to say i am the last of my friends (IRL and runescape) i played with back in the old day.

This is awesome!! But just one question...

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

I think you should make an exception for players who played before August 2007. Most of the people who want it back are f2p. Allow people who make accounts before 2007 to also vote. It would make it much more fair.

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING. You're not only benefiting us players, but yourselves as well. I mean, look at the size of this thread....look at your Facebook likes on that RS 2007 post! It's probably been YEARS since you've had that many likes on one post.

I can honestly say that I feel like RuneScape has just received a mass revival! :)

We had a vote to bring back the wild, is the wild like it used to be? No.

I can't see this working at all and would rather the devolopers worked on the new content. Eoc is coming together nicely now. It even has me, someone who was dead against eoc, killing most monsters now, and enjoying it.

If you must bring in a vote why not make it a straight yes or no?
