as a 10+ year veteran to runescape, i can honestly say i love the EOC update. I started playing again due to the update. In my honest opinion, i believe that most people are angry because they are not used to change. I remember playing RSC and the best way to make money was to fish lobs at karanja and take port sarim to bank, and you had to click each time you wanted to fish.. There are uproars everytime there is a major update, like RS2 or Barrows or another skill. When members move to the new servers, they will play it for a couple months and realize what they are missing out on, and move back to the EOC. Its a cycle and happens all the time. This game has made great strides from the beginning when you started a new account it put you in Lumbridge with absolutely no guidance, or idea of what to do with the game. Good job Jagex in keeping your customers happy for this long!!

Finally... what we all have been anticipating for so long. I will say, I tried EoC for a few months but it's just not the same.. the game isn't as intriguing as it was. The gold sites are also killing it, please take more serious action towards gold farmers. I'v seen the same gold farmers or bots in the same area, lvl 200 for weeks and months after being reported several times by different people. And they never speak or react. Anyway Thanks Jagex for this support!

So I just want to get this straight, what I do on the 2007 server will have absolutely NO affect on the 'main' game. (Except for chatting, etc.)?
Also, will the Grand Exchange potentially be added to the 2007 server if we reach at least level 3 in the voting system?

You're underestimating how much damage a DDS, MSB, or D Long spec can do.

Turmoil broke the majority of late-game combat.
"- slow hits"

You know what's really funny? Open the highscores page and click skip to last page. wait a couple of seconds and refresh the page. Yes, there is now a new page with 14 member accounts on it.

Roughly one new member per second => poll's over, people want this

I personally prefer eoc, but will try 2007 version for the people starting from scratch. I've been wanting people to start from scrath for ages. Will probably end up back on eoc, occasionally playing 2007 for a change.
Will miss a lot of the great updates that have come since then though

Hopefully there'll be a lot of votes so there's a team in place to re-update a lot of them.

Please allow people whose subscription has expired within the last.... say 6 months to vote too, as these are probably the most enthusiastic for it.

Very happy with almost everything in this post Jagex, save for one thing:
