Old School RuneScape Anyone?

I will not be voting, and do not like this idea at all.
Personally, I find it worrysome that a whole new initiative is being thought of while so much content in the main game remains unattended. On top of this is the promise of "Runescape 3" which remains a mystery.
The positive of this will be that it really won't take long for the rose-colored glasses to fade, and before long the server/s will be inhabited by a very low number of die-hards. Add to this new skills to main game, and promised content, and this whole thing is going to end up like the Wildy/Free-Trade fiaco- both sides in disarray.
I applaud Jagex listening to the community. But the voice of the 2007 brigade were negative and rarely constructive. The game has evolved and needs committment from players to continue. I worry that attention will be taken from the main game to support an initiative that I do not see being of any huge benefit in the long run.
As for the complaints about having to start over- this, again, is indicative of the utter selfishness of many in this community. Jagex stated that these old servers WOULD NOT BE COMING BACK quite adamantly on a livestream- now, a complete reversal. I would be very happy that the idea is even being considered.
