How in the living hell will you people get 50k signatures comparing that almost every member on this game is either a nolife that doesn't want to restart or a botter? To me this sounds like a plot by Jagex to get a good 5 million U.S. Dollars from one month of subscribers trying to get a update in. To be completely and utterly honest Jagex doesn't realize that this game has few (new players) only old ones that want their runescape back to the way it was... Quit in 2010 and have experienced many Jagex mess ups... Good luck guys... I will resub for this one month to get a vote in but besides that if this doesn't fall through with at least 500k votes I am -OUT FOREVER

This is going to be really cool. :D I'm a big fan of both RuenScape Classic and the current version of RuneScape. I'm really looking forward to the 2007 version being re-introduced. :D I hope jagex gets enough votes to make it free because i won't be able to afford an actual payment on it. :P

This must be the fastest filling thread I've seen... and the one with the most positive comments in it!

The way I read it, even if everyone votes for this, it will make NO difference to the current game, servers etc. Jagex will still update SoF, SGS etc on a weekly basis as they do now. So even if you didn't like or don't want to see the 2007 game, it'll make no difference to the current game if you vote for the old.
There's a large number of players who want to see the old game back, and seem prepared to buy membership - even if just for a month - to vote for it.
It would be interesting to see the player balance between the old game and the new...

In short - vote for the old game back. You won't lose anything, and you'll gain a choice!

i don't know why those kids who support eoc wan'* to see us start over from 0, what they are saying is we didn't work for our skills bank and stats or what? do you even know how long it's going to take to build up the community from 0?
