Personaly i think that it may be a good idea as it will bring back many ex-players.

However this is the potential problams and solutions:

Prices will become unstable and not correct for its potential***** bandos was soloable in "07".) The solution is make things non transferable from old and new runescape also make it so there is no exchange system in the "07" system or remove the grand exchange (if it was around then.)

In conclusion to prevent price incorrection is to; make it so there is no grand exchange in the old version/ also make it so things can not be taken into the old game from the current one and also the current one into the "07" version.


Secondly i think it is disguisting that you plan on implimenting a price increase on membership as obviously when you think about it nomatter how much surport you get it will cost the same anyway also if i don't go on the old version will i still be expected to pay more then what i pay anyway!?

In conclusion to prevent this dont make it cost more to go on the describable rsps and if you do make it an optional payment; as we all know there Are f2p world and members worlds that are silver and gold stars.
My implement in how to resolve this is:

Free to play = bronze star
Standard members = silver star
Premium member (+"07" ) = gold *tar

Also to make the price less i sugest more adverts in f2p resulting in the removal of the 3 star system as i think being a member is starting to lose its honour and privilages and imposing extra adverts into the free to play community will make paying members - the founders, players and funders of this great game once again worth it at no extra free!

To justify i think more adverts in f2p worlds to make "07scape" avalable to all existing paying members at a charge of no additional fee! Or use the 3 star system so people who only want to play current runescape can without havimg to pay extra for a facility they do not want to pay for! Mike

Though I'm sure we will do our best to spread the word...
I do think a certain percentage may not be reading the RS Homepage?
Hopefully word of mouth will prove me wrong.

I do think EoC free servers should open.
I for one, will definitely return.

A Problem I spotted...

Non members can't vote.
A large number of EoC protestors (like myself) are not members at present.
A percentage of players will b reluctant to pay for p2p with no guarantee of release.
Can say have a little faith, but atm, there's little.
It good to know our opinions are taken on board! Thank you!

For a more acurate poll, wouldn't it be better to make the poll open to p2p and f2p players, but impose a 'time-in-game-lapsed' restriction.
Maybe 5 year veteran cape to vote?
Or whatever is deemed fair along that sort of thinking.

What do you think?

Some of you are seriously making me cringe with the whole "level 3? f that" bull. Accounts are not linked, and many accounts have used newer methods of leveling, which are easier and possibly more profitable. New armors make it easier to grind, and the EoC made it really easy for me to kill monsters for XP. Hell no I do not want my current stats in the 2007 server, that would be like cheating!

And as for you haters, why vote no? All it does it gets rid of the whiners on your game and gives us something to play at no disadvantage to you. Besides, I don't think there is a no option, as if any of you would learn to read it states clearly that if you do not support it simply do not vote.

Jagex needs more revenue and if they think 2007 servers will do that, why prohibit them from doing so? They need more funds to improve the game, anyway.

Some of you sicken me with how ignorant you can be. Half of you don't think, and the other half don't read/watch. Why can nobody on this damn game be logical about this? There are no repercussions at starting at level 3, or by not including the 07 servers. You know people will vote, so why make it expensive for loyal members?

Anyway, I'm an adult now, so I can afford $22 a month to play, but I'd like to be able to play with thousands of others too.

(By the way, since EoC is still technically RS2 there is no logical way for them to give you your spoonfed stats on an old server with low xp rates, deal with it.)

How will there be any rares in the game if all of our accounts start fresh?

LET US PICK UP FROM WHERE WE LEFT OFF. Don't reset accounts, don't import anything from rs now. Just let us login and continue from where we were!

I hate to say it, But people were really starting to lose faith in Jagex & Jmods. This is a magical redemption for all of you and a great way to start off the "Best year in RS History"

I truly believe this is a wonderful idea. It also gives an opportunity for brand new players to get a taste of what RS used to be. I'm an 07er so this is just a repeat of the last 6 years of my life, which thanks to Runescape was amazing.
I have a lot of questions however. Biggest ones being:

- If this is a drop like RSC, what will be the ***uation on botwat*h? leaving it unprotected would just be silly, but implementing and advanced method would be uncanny to vintage players.

- Will the copyright maintain as it is in RS2/3? If i were to make youtube videos of 07scape would i be cracked down on?

- Will Holidays provide the same rewards as they did? If so how will you deal with the progression of holidays 2013 onward. If no... Why not?
