Guys guys guys...
I started this game in '05. If we have to start all over again i really don't see it being more than a fad.
Hell i was insanely amped for the possibility but just restarting in that time period is going to be way too time consuming :\ I had maxed combat stats and 91+ runecrafting at that period of time. LOL @ getting that back again
Think of how long the noob-era lasted when you started the game initially back in that timeframe. Like someone said... Mining for hours on end to buy a rune set and a dscim. Training combat for 100+ hours for each stat. It's just going to be a flop if we can't restore SOME of our stats.
I propose after a month of re-opening the servers to allow those of us who had an account during that time period to transfer our stats between the games if we so wish or maybe pick 5 or 6 stats to retain from the current version of the game. Also maybe including the ability to permanently transfer your character between the versions of the game to get your stats on the old version? Ex: Pretty much delete your EoC version of yourself to re-instate it in a 07 version of the game.
Honestly Jagex you REALLY need to find some way to give people some stats, especially those of us like myself who were playing years before 07 even. Or it will end up being a flop in the end. I do not feel like running laws on world 66 for 3 months to get 91 runecrafting again o_o. I would honestly shell out $30 bucks or so to get those stats to switch in some way no joke.
