You honestly think bringing back servers from 2007 with no high level equipment is good? Do you even want updates or you just want the game to stay the way it is FOREVER? Where is the fun in knowing you are stuck with whips and godswords and barrows armor FOREVER? Not to mention the triangle was sooooo unbalanced back then, it was meleescape and all magic had was ice barrage and range had NOTHING. Thats no true high level content, i dont consider barrows and godswords high level content.

Level 1 - 50,000 or more votes:

$23 a month and no updates.

Level 2 - 250,000 or more votes:

$13 and "little improvements"

Level 3 - 500,000 or more votes:

regular membership and &q***;some updates"

Level 4 - 750,000 or more votes:

2007 free servers and membership servers. With regular maintenance and regular members polls to determine which updates you want to see prioritized.

Basically level 1 and 2 would be horrible. level 3 would be ok. Level 4 is the best because you will actually be getting polled regularly about all updates to the game. Too bad theres not even 750,000 members right now.

Good luck with reliving your past and not getting bored out of your mind within a couple months.

I realy love the response from MMG, but why dont they remake the voting system:

IF you have been player more then a year or so and ur currently f2p you can still vote. That shows dedication that players have *till faith as f2p players. It's realy unfair about the players that been around more then 1,2,5,10 years and still sticking with the forums. My self as veteran i will make the payment for p2p but as i can see that you still are into money more then making ur community happy.

Anyone else feel like most people posting about those are just noobs who were not even playing back then? Maybe on private servers.

It wasn't that great back then. But - the combat system was better than what it's now - it's runescape. But what all is there to do in 2007? Pking. Pvm is very poor experience and there are only three notable bosses.

But August 2007? Before GWD or after GWD's release (28. of August in 2007)?

I'd love to play it again, but not enough to pay for it. And certainly not subscribing just to cast a vote. And to make it f2p 750k votes? Way to scam and make money? Is it even remotely possible to get 750k people to vote? I don't think so.

But if you're just looking to pk, hybrid or being pure, I understand you might like it and be willing to pay for it.

I'd much rather play a 2k10 or 2k12 version. I loved almost all the updates. Eoc was the only one that seriously made me think of quitting (and did).

What do you all think?

I for one cannot wait to get back into the swing of things, I've felt empty not being able to skill while watching movies or talking to friends. back when skilling required a lot less to profit from since items didn't cost so much (i'm looking at you Nex armor). Barrows and Dragon armor weren't even that hard to buy if you just put in a few days of playing to get money for them. speaking of those items, going to bosses and not having a hard time is what made them fun. you could easily talk with your friends and still fight bosses. while we we all be starting from lvl 3 just keep this in mind. back in the day Zezima was the top player in runescape and held that spot for years and years. i remember saying as a kid "wow... what i wouldn't give to have a shot at first place on the high scores..." well now we all do as it's anyone's game. this restart will begin the race for who can max out first and hold the spot as runescapes number 1 old school player
