@Sacra it is by design, Jagex knows that first of all, they don't even have enough paying members to make it to 500k votes. Secondly, they know 2007 is not what people are really pushing for, we just want pre-EoC RuneScape THAT WE WERE PAYING TO PLAY ON 19 NOVEMBER 2012 when Jagex decided to completely change the game that we paid so much money into and spent so much valuable time on. Now, they are completely shafting us.

Their only goals here are to make a bunch of people that quit because of EoC resubscribe, only to have the votes fall way short and the 2007 servers require an additional $15. Another side goal of them is to try to make it appear that more people support the EoC than really do, we're not blind or dumb, it's quite clear that a majority did not and do not want the continuation of the EoC. Jagex doesn't care, Jagex just want money. Caveman logic.

I like that this will be put up for a vote. This game was best shortly after I became a member and shortly before. However, I rerely see over 90k people online anymore. Most of the people who would vote for this don't care anymore and have quit.

I don't think there are even enough interested players to hit 250k. I feel like this is another one of Jagex's scams.

Negatives of this forum post:

Starting from level 3 with no bank.
No pre-EoC servers
Less bosses and minigames.
A significant increase in charge for players if poll not success.
Unfair poll as 50% have already quit.

They've really screwed us over, again. :/
It's like making us choose between a bad combat system with good features or a good combat system with barely any features.

It's like my account has been robbed from me since November 2012. I can either play the game I don't enjoy anymore or restart all over again and let all that I've worked for disappear. I really had my hopes up for this but you've disappointed me Jagex.
A large majority of us wanted pre-EoC servers and you have failed to see that.

Then i readed it, it sounded very interesting but, you adressed that it would be a "members-only vote", and also you said that

but the thing is, the veteran players cant vote, because they have quitted and they arrent members....?
So why dont make it so that your account, needs to be atleast 2 years old, or something like that instead, or make a members-only poll, and a members and free poll???"
