well this post of your really brough tears to my eyes....
.....i havent played rs for a year now ( parents banned me from runescape for 2 years because of my studies)
but before that i have been a member for more than a year. I really want to vote in this poll. Is there any way where players who have more that 1 yr membership can vote? :')

No. If you go to the 2nd post on this thread, the FAQ's. It says it will be a fresh start server. No items in game, everyone starts at level 3. THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!

One question: Why do you have to be a member to vote surely all of the players wanting old rs will not have membership because they quit cus it was the worst update ever (not saying i dont like it, i kinda do but those graphics were epic! remember when abby whips were 3m? haha good times) PLEASE MAKE IT SO OLD PLAYERS AND F2P PLAYERS CAN VOTE!

I really want this to happen, but i refuse to renew my membership just to vote, leaving this vote only in the hands of the current members makes no sense, the majority of people who want this including myself are people who have quit long ago.

Let the dice fall where they may.

I for one cannot wait to get back into the swing of things, I've felt empty not being able to skill while watching movies or talking to friends. back when skilling required a lot less to profit from since items didn't cost so much (i'm looking at you Nex armor). Barrows and Dragon armor weren't even that hard to buy if you just put in a few days of playing to get money for them. speaking of those items, going to bosses and not having a hard time is what made them fun. you could easily talk with your friends and still fight bosses. while we we all be starting from lvl 3 just keep this in mind. back in the day Zezima was the top player in runescape and held that spot for years and years. i remember saying as a kid "wow... what i wouldn't give to have a shot at first place on the high scores..." well now we all do as it's anyone's game. this restart will begin the race for who can max out first and hold the spot as runescapes number 1 old school player

Okay so i totally flipped when i saw your "2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote!" - Post in the news.
Then i readed it, it sounded very interesting but, you adressed that it would be a "members-only vote", and also you said that
you "hope that this project will bring back many veteran players",
but the thing is, the veteran players cant vote, because they have quitted and they arrent members....?
So why dont make it so that your account, needs to be atleast 2 years old, or something like that instead, or make a members-only poll, and a members and free poll???
