@RSKING.
He said 'may' transfer wealth.
This is not a fact, it also says 'everyone will start fresh' which is what i bet will happen. If wealth were transferred the game would be basically not point in playing due to players buying gold in Real world trading.
Just wait for the update.

I'm quite intrigued to know how many people that voted for these servers actually played in 2007, I was wondering if publishing this figure would be possible? It would be quite funny to unearth some mindless people who vote off the back of the rest of the community, peer pressured into it almost. I voted, of course, but I just wonder how many of the people who did, didn't vote because they enjoyed the time back then (if they were even around) but rather because of folktales from veterans who raved about 'the good old days.'

@ Bakoo

What does it matter anyhow. Why does someone always have to come up with a crazy statistic? Leave it be and stop trying to cause a fight on the forums. Everyone has a right to vote and yes some of them may be people voting off pure curiosity....whats it matter? Your talking like vets are the only people that should have had a right to vote. Ok so lets see...what are we at now 260k+ votes vs the 1500+ there would have been had only Vets voted. Yeah lol that wouldn't even had scratched the earlier 50k needed to even open the damn servers.

Stop being a (If I spell this right if not oh well) war mongering idiot and trying to cause yet another fight about the polls.....

It clearly doesn't matter, because it's already going to happen. I wasn't trying to spark controversy, **r from it. I just thought it would be an interesting statistic. When you think about it, if people who never played it voted, and then went on the servers and didn't actually enjoy it, it would be a waste of a vote and possibly resources Jagex could instead put into developing the current game. It's more for their benefit, not mine. I just don't want the 2007 servers to end up like the RSC servers. You could say it won't be, because there will still probably be like 5k+ people who play the 2007 servers over elongated time, however this is an overwhelming minority, and if anything is a wasted resource in terms of Jagex, the amount they pay them to do what is essentially wasted work is very inefficient.

Just something to consider, and that's why I wanted to know the ***ure.

I started playing in 2008 not on this ofc but I found 2009-2011 to be the my favourite with no free trade and when we had the poll for the 'old wild' everyone said OMG yay so I voted for it. I am NOT hating on EOC but I find it to repeative and no sense on luck in the game (Not including that scam of fortune).I did not play in 2007 but I have been told it was cool and voted for those who will use it out of kindness. If I like this 1 month free trial I will see if I can pay for another since I don't like EOC. If 2007 appeals to me I will pay for another but why can it not be same price as eoc? why do I have to pay for eoc and 2007 if im going to play 2007 it's not a fair deal. :/ LOGIC BY JAGEX = FAILURE.

@Bakoo Players who would enjoy playing 07 server is paying for both games. I doubt much resources will be spent on the server as the players would prefer only small if any updates. Jagex also had a backup which saved them a lot of money and time on coding and developing which now can be used to focus on EoC and bug fixing in 07. It would be interesting to see some statistics and graphs, I can agree on that.
