Hey guys i'm just curious and wondering if i should buy members to vote. If i do buy members just to vote will that immediately grant me access to the Old School Servers for a month, or will i have to pay the extra $15 or $5 fee?

Hello everyone, I just thought id check up on the progress of the runescape community in the fight to remove eoc. I myself had played for 8 years or so with 2 active subscriptions before eoc was released. I even gave it a chance for a few months after until nothing was done about the bots and everything in the economy crashed. I am disjointed to say the least when i noticed they were up to the old tricks again and did not fully listen to the players. No , we don't want 2007 runescape back!
There have been many changes in the game since then and a majority for the better.
What we would like is for you to admit eoc was a poor idea and restore the game to the point just before that. As far as voting for 2007 and your levels of restoration , Total snowball move again. You have to be a member to vote...go figure. So am i to understand you want everyone to sign back up so that you can claim only 50k ppl voted yes and give a minimal update with a few servers and no support? **T A CHANCE! The day you actually listen to the community, Is the day me and my 2 accounts will return. You wont get me back with you erroneous poll results like you did with the oec poll.

Honestly...Jagex. You guys have made me so excited for 2007 runescape, its crazy. Im at college thinking about it...At work thinking about it.. And also dreaming about it. Who else has the same feelings for 2007 runescape? I feel like my childhood is coming back and i cannot wait to play this again, i already formed a group of friends to come back, although most wont pay to vote, so lets hope we hit 250k votes, 500k would be excellent and 750k would be amazing. :)

I think a lot of updates Runescape had was for the better. I'm not sure how far the nostalgia-lovers intend to go, but I think the god wars was amazing. Dungeoneering was by far one of the most brilliant concepts I've ever seen in Runescape, and is my favorite skill. The player owned ports(Which I confess cannot access) sounds really fun, a great idea, and end-game content for people. The runespan....eh....I do feel like it sorta made RuneCrafting a little too easy, but I accept it as an update. Gando armor was ridiculous though, I liked a few other things like ancient curses, the amazing amount of quests in the game, ect.

I also like a few EOC things like the new character models, they way they stand, running, dual wielding(if it were implemented on the old system), a lot of these ideas were great. EOC was just boring to me, it felt like mashing macrod skills in a certain order, only slightly mixing it up for common-sense situations, the older Runescape had a simpler combat system(although harder pvp imo) sure, but it had a certain charm to it, EOC kinda feels mindless and the HP and damage standard is WAY too high, I often don't even realize I'm taking damage sometimes because it's like ''50. 50, 50, blah blah blah''.

I did like 2007 however, and am willing to pay for access to it, I would however like to pay simply for the that server and not the EOC server, and I hope we reach at least 250k votes so it's only 5$, but I'm not asking for no updates, I just like a non EOC combat system.

Okay , here is the deal,

Whether I play 2007 or EOC is irrelevant.
Which one I prefer is irrelevant.
Out of loyalty to the PLAYERS,
NOT JAGEX,
but the PLAYERS who want 2007,
I have voted YES.

And I hope others will do the same.
