WRONG. many of us want sof-1 and many want ge -1. many others want things inbetween gone. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

I have waited 6 years for this. They finally realize less is more. The introduction of overpowered armor and weapons completely ruined what the game was. I've played since the very beginning, and to all these new kids, this game was NOT built on PvM. It's PvP aspect was stunning, and what brought people towards the game. There was such thing as honor and fun back then, recently pking has gone to complete garbage. Even in 07 before godwars there was good PvM, and plenty of skills. PvM WAS challenging back then, thats where the fun was. They ruined it all by bringing out OP weapons and armor that made PvM a freaking joke and ruined PKing.

You guys are crazy if you think this is going to cost anything.

At 750,000 votes it's completely FREE.

You don't even need a membership to play it. Read the main post and you'll see.

When it reaches 750,000 votes they said they'd add both Member and FREE worlds for everyone. This means FREE members can play just as they do now with no cost involved. Members of Current RuneScape will also be able to play for FREE on the Member servers or the FREE servers.

We need 750,000 votes so please just keep voting!

i voted, but after reading the info of what the new "old" server entails i regret voting. basically it opens a old sever for us to nostalgia on and then slowly up dates based on our vote, so slowly its just going to become another server at the same level we have now. i see no relevant point of opening the old server if you plan to just slowly bring it up to par with the modern servers. this is completely pointless. if you're going to open and old server then open an old server and leave it alone. otherwise its just a stupid gimmick to get old players back that you lost because of the wildy riots.

I agree with you, but Jagex have to earn money. For me, SOF-1 would be good but I like the GE. We are all different. What the biggest thing is (judging from numbers online) is that a majority would favor having Runescape before the accursed EOC back.

And this is why they won't bring back a recent pre-EoC server. It has nothing to do with backups, and everything to do with the competition it would give the current game. They are quite aware that between a 2007 and pre-EoC server, that few (relatively) would stay with EoC.

That's embarrassing to upper management, and that just can't happen.

YOU'RE NOT LOSING ANYTHING. Your stats and everything in your runescape account today will not be gone for goodness sake. The 2007 runescape will have no affect on your account you use today. How is it unfair that you start fresh? It's a completely seperate server yeah it's still runescape but isn't the same game.

It's like saying a second version of a game comes out on xbox but you think it's unfair that you start fresh on the second one and don't have everything you had on the first one..

Honestly THINK.


Edit: And think about it. You haven't lost any hard work just because they're bringing back what people and I certaintly call the real runescape. You still have the stats, money and everything else you achieved in todays runescape which remember used to be 05-06-07 runescape that most of us rememember and honestly still miss.

Just because they're are bringing back 2007 runescape but you're starting fresh doesn't mean you have wasted anything..
