People who are "Pro-EoC" on this topic are just making themselves look like idiots.

I enjoy both EoC and scape how it was in 2007, so this update will be perfect as i get the best of both worlds. People seem to think that bringing out these servers holds some sort of threat against the main game and it definitely doesn't.

Jagex has 400+ employees working for them, they said only a SMALL dedicated team would be used to keep the servers running smoothly and possibly updated. I'm sure Jagex will still be updating and progressing with the main game like they have to accommodate current members.

There is no downside to this update, it'll bring more players onto the game(who may try out the newer runescape and enjoy it), it'll make Runescape popular again and it is virtually bonus content for anyone even if you won't play.

It's incredibly selfish to think 'well if i'm not going to play, no point voting' when it'll benefit the game so much and is purely just more added content. If the same was happening to you guys, you wouldn't want someone not to vote purely out of selfish reasons.

I look forward to the vote later today.
