As for rares I think they should be reintroduced for only the first day only for people who log on, or the for the first year only per event with their proper timeline. Such as re-releasing easter eggs/bunny ears in easter, etc.

Or better yet, don't even bring in the tradable rares. Just bring in the untradable rares.

I'd be happy enough just having a sythe and bunny ears and a yo-yo :)

I'm sure all if not most of you have been begging for this chance since eoc came into the game. I really hope you guys don't let 7 dollars stand in your way now and besides.. Mod mmg said those who vote will get the first membership on the 2007 servers for free so think of it as buying membership early. Everybody needs to come together and vote. Don't think your 1 vote won't make a diffierence. Every vote is 1 step closer and 500k+ is what we really need to aim for at the least because it's a free service at that point (with main runescape membership) EVERYONE REPASTE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact of the matter is, newer players wouldn't have been able to see what sort of a game runescape used to be to what it is now.
Yes a game needs updating but as far as all of us players from back in 2005 onwards are concerned, the game has been ruined for us. Even if you bring back the old runescape as a completely seperate game and charge a seperate member fee the old school players then have a choice to go back into the best part of runescape they believe was best for them. I do not doubt that they wouldn't mind paying and extra charge for the old game to be back up and running as I know many if not all of the people I used to know have moved on from the game as it is too much like others now. Runescape used to be so unique and not like any other game such as WOW etc, the game had its own brilliant ways to draw you in and now it's just a shame it's not how it used to be.

I hope that 2007 runescape comes back to life as this was the best part of the game in my opinion, I have so many people willing to come back to the game if there would be a version like it used to be. This would also make people come away from those dirty private servers!

Great future update and hope it comes through!

Would be cool if they could transfer rares and coins only, that way no botted stuff enter the new economy, and rares well be kept in 2007servers, and making you only be able to transfer or copy the items like they did in beta one time only.

Spliting it in half sounds good to me. Keep the ones who ruined the game on their EOC server, most everyone else will be on the 2007 server enjoying the great legacy runescape once was.

There is no reason to not vote yes. No reason apart from wanting to force people to play some weird version of RS that suffers hugely from power creep and wow syndrome. '07 had decent balance and I can't wait to get back into it with the benefit of hindsight.
