I disagree that only Members will be able to vote. While I do agree that the main source of Runescape's income is through memberships, the current Members most likely either like the current Runescape, or just don't mind it enough. What about many of the truly old-school players? Many of them probably aren't Members, for various reasons. If it's the old-school Runescape you wish to bring back, then why limit it to the current Members, when there are a lot of veteran players in F2P.
Also, a large number of players are F2P, and just because they aren't Members, they still know the game well enough to know if it's a good idea to re-introduce the old Runescape. In any successful government/society, the laws (in this case, updates), should be impacted by those they will come to affect. If you limit the choice to only the nobility (Members), only the ones who like the game well enough to pay to play will get to have a say, which is unfair to the less fortunate. This is just one of the Enlightenment principals, the one by John Locke, that states that all men are created equally, both socially and politically.
Also, having to pay extra to play an older version of the game? In what sense does that make any sense. The price should be exactly the same as it use to be to play the old Runescape, not 15-10 dollars extra.
I remember the old days, back when I really liked Runescape, which is exactly around the 2007-2008 period, but just because that's when I liked it the most doesn't mean that I'll be willing to pay extra just to play it again.
