I think a good way of implementing rares is having them in a general store for let's say 2,000M each (2B gp). Once a certain amount are bought (this amount should be compared to the active number of players, say 1000 players then 10 rares, 200k players, 2000 rares, etc.) they should close down that store and never sell rares again, that way, only the people who have worked the hardest (since we're all level 3) would be able to attain these rares and then from there on they will be back in the game and people will do with them as they please.

Ok I too have renewed my membership and am looking forward to voting in 2007 scape, but i have something that needs to be cleared up. Will i be able to keep the items (armor, weapons etc.) from the main game going into the 2007 servers?

Please not GWD. Godswords was the point in RuneScape's history where the combat triangle screwed up horrendously for Mages and Rangers and did not get fixed until EoC.

Mages suffered the most, Warriors were showered in updates, and rangers had one and another - Mages had like none at all that mattered.

GWD also ruined the economy even more. It *could* have worked if the weapons were less powerful, but as it was, no, just no.

Finally, I'm all for this, not even bothered about starting from fresh, building my account and bank was what i guess i enjoyed most the first time around. It'll also be fun to watch the economy grow and see how things differ in prices from the current version.

Back in 07' I was sneaking off to the shop every month to top up my mobile with £5 of my pocket money to subscribe to RuneScape without my parents knowing i was paying for the game haha. I haven't paid for regular membership since probably late 2008 or 09 but now im older and supporting myself i wont mind paying the £7 odd or whatever $15 dollars converts to, although im pretty sure we'll hit atleast 250,000, and even 500,000 isn't out of reach either. 750,000 would be a bonus, and not impossible either, wasn't there over 1 million for the wildy vote?

Great stuff, so many memories from this time-era. :D :)

But honestly i dont think nowadays kids can play a honest game.
Its all about cheatin, bots etc. not like when i strarted playin back in 2001

Still wish Jagex would keep PK'ers in a separate area away from quest and activities.Having to run away from a stinking Pk'er while trying to do a Jagex activity is NOT why i am paying for this game.Put the PK'ers on their own servers and let them kill each other off.RIP.
I am not a PK'er, do not want to be a PK'er and do not want my fun to be interupted by a PK'er.
