What is the point of rares if we all start at lvl 3. No-one will have any money to buy them off you anyway.

You are assuming rares will be rare.

Jagex can have Diango give them away for free - As long as EoC and 2007 are separate, it does not matter what is done to rares on 2007 - Everyone is starting off fresh, so nobody loses anything if rares suddenly become common.


Good point Zelda, I was assuming that, and I agree with your answer. That way we all start off with no advantage over anyone else.

With the Santas, phats, holiday items and all... Why can't you do it the same way it happened the first time? With the original holiday quests and the same way the players got everything? The prices will not be the same of course but would get the items into the game, which I think is an important thing.

Best move you guys have done in a long time. Ignore the people hating here, at least we're getting the old days back! I know we're going to hit 50k no problem, but I don't know if it's worth paying an extra $15 a month to play old servers. Even $5 a month is kinda meh to me. I would pay $5 extra but not $15 extra. Hopefully 500k+! THANKS JAGEX!

1 day after announcement and already over a thousand pages of posts... yea Jagex, you'll totally get enough votes :D What I'm curious to see is if once O'SevenScape goes live more people just play than rather than the current version XD

why the fresh start?
why not at least transfer the skills levels?
i dont want to spend another many hours training combat and not to mention skills..
if u dont have the records from back in the day, maybe just put current stats and remove newer skills.
and how about names? would it be like making a new user or would it be always updating with name changes?

Because a fresh start puts everyone on equal grounds.
A lot of people are put of from playing older games because everyone else is way stronger compared to them, and they have no way to catch up.
