HammerIock: We saw this on a device whose graphics drivers were out of date - please make sure yours are updated to see if that helps - the transparencies and glow things (billboards to give them their technical name!) do work - I promise!

(Also, press 1 to turn off shadows to improve performance)

I am looking at some of these NPCs, and to be honest I feel like you may have rushed putting this into effect. Any monster with a transparent image or glow signified in the current runescape, for example how Fungal Mages radiate a glow at their palms and have glow on the spikes on their back is a black box. Apparently you must've messed up with the alpha channels or something. Transparency isn't working, it just shows up as a black box on effect images.

It works perfectly fine for me both Fungal Mages listed, the transparency and the glow etc... it might be your computer, software(out dated drivers) or internet connection that is causing the issues

tried looking at the bestiary on my android device and it keeps asking to update my chrome. the play store says its up to date.

Running android 4.1.1

Thank you for letting me know. But i'm also wondering, I read the full post and noticed that in the article it mentioned that Apple products specifically tablets like the iPhone and iPad don't support "all the things we need for html 5". I already knew they didn't support Java, but does this mean that the iPad and iPhone will not be able to be used with the new Runescape being launched next year run on HTML 5?
