Excuse me.But i believe my account Nidded was misbanned due to this botwatch,because I was never ever botting nor was I goldfarming this happened around 7:05pm yesterday night I was a clan member in the living rock caverns simple helping her level her defense up she would attack the living rock creature first and i would help kill it.And she wasn't picking up the items that would drop so I was picking them up.How is that a form of goldfarming or botting when I was just simple playing the game it was made too do kill stuff and what *** and try to make money.Jagex please do something about this if you need my clan member name I can give it too you,please try and fix this.

Well, that doesn't make any sense. I haven't played this game in almost a year and just recently started playing again. I have never used any botting programs either, so why would this happen? O_o

It's good to see you're taking initiative against gold farmers. However; this is now the second time I have noticed a problem with the BotWatch system. As of last night, I have heard several people I know and others I am not as familiar with have been banned due to this “next phase” simply because they are limited to logging from China via a proxy due to certain Government censorship and regulations. (Note: I'm not 100% sure on specifics, I'm just passing on the message.)

Are restrictions like these taken into account? ... It does not seem like it. I hope this is looked into sooner rather than later. I'm not particularly fond of losing friends because of inaccurate banning.

Agree that this is 2nd time BotWatch going wrong.
There is massive bans to any players, no matter rule-breaking or just login spinning, who logged in in mainland China.

Please take the words into account. Chinese players are the lesser group in RS, but that doesn't mean they deserve to be banned without evidence. New-made accounts are banned once they logged in in mainland China. I don't see how someone can bot or gold-farm without a trade, or training a single level.

There are tons of pathetic Chinese ignoring rules, botting and gold-farming in RS. In their eyes RS is just a tool for money. I feel shame to this, angry and sad also. But we cannot deny, and should not ignore that there are also legit and dedicated players like all of us in China.


Please take a review on the action taken by BotWatch in last few days. We all hope a bot-free RS. BotWatch is a great weapon to achieve this. As a weapon, it can point to bots, meaning it might point to normal players also. We cannot help in the core of gold-farming judging system. Please listen to our feedback on it in return.

(and I know most ppl just thinking "TLDR" or "Chinese = bots", please goes to rants forum for that.)

I'm worried about what's going to happen in future phases. Jagex are adamant that they're only banning players that DO break rules but it's clear this isn't actually the case in recent roll outs of BotWatch.

In terms of the phase that detects macroing fluently; I wouldn't want vast amounts of players to be banned unjustifiably. This would just add more strain on the Account Help emailing system, which is already proving to be an inefficient means of aiding players...

If these bans are because software development is being rushed, I personally wouldn't mind if it took them longer to make the software that is more accurate. If they're not because it's rushed, it doesn't how it's intended.

No, I'm not from China but as it is, this is unacceptable to say the least.

I hope a member of Jagex staff reads and understands my concerns,
