That is not true. I could care less about the old combat system. Its a combination of the Nostalgia, the feeling of starting over, the community, and much much more that make people want 2007 back.

2007 servers are the best thing ever.

But at this point I am having so much fun that I will willingly pay for monthly membership. So long as you do not bring back the ge.

Thanks. Even if you mess this up somehow I have had so much fun already. I didn't realize how much fun old rs was.

Edit: I just wanted to say that I am running on a Mac and it works for me. Also my enjoying this has absolutely nothing to do with EOC. I actually don't mind EOC although I am still not used to it. It is more about the fact that you are not doing chores. In the current game I have such a long list of things that give me an "advantage". Things like the circus and penguins(love my pengies) and statues (which I forgot this month) and even sinkholes (which I absolutely adore). I love all these but I never get around to just playing. In rs2007 I am just playing and having a great time.

And getting herblore up is such a fun challendge.

I think they set the voting to high. They didn't factor in that a lot of the votes from previous polls had a lot of bot accounts that have since been banned and that they lost a lot of players after the eoc update therefore theirs not as many players around to vote. Really should have made it '12scape not '07scape

Lol, don't be selfish. There are lots of people who prefer to stay in the real game instead of the older version.

The polls were not set too high. You have to realize that in order to keep up two different versions of Runescape it's going to cost money.

Runescape 2013+ is here to stay. Enjoy yours, don't take away the years of updates some players actually enjoy. Thanks.

I and my clan have enjoyed the nostalgia of old rs immensely, but as a clan leader I do have one concern - my clan is now split between my 2012 clan chat and my 2007 friend chat. my 07 players cannot access the main clan chat and my clan is having to log into both the cc and the friend chat to stay in touch with everyone.

Can the interface between the clan chat and the friend chat be corrected so that the 07 can run either clan chat or friend chat?

My message its'nt about this subject. My other account just been stolen and all new things that jagex had add to upgrade the safety of the account have been useless. I guess it help the hacker to stolen my account. My account who have been stolen is

Hello runescape,
I just wanted to say, after a few months of not logging on I came on here to cancel my membership.
I saw there was a vote for an 'old school' runescape and I will proudly say that I voted 'Yes'.

As I said I have not logged on to runescape in a couple of months, well since the EOC update. I have had no desire to play since then, and as I still have no desire to play I will still be cancelling my membership.

I do think it has a lot to do with the EOC update and I am glad that a vote has been taken place. Personally I don't understand why the vote is to be reverted back to 2007, I felt the game was almost perfect before the whole SOF update, but whatever.

I wish all of the runescape members everlasting longevity and prosperity in this new game. And I will forever hold out hope for the restoration of the runescape I grew to love.

I like it a lot.

Much more & friendlier interaction, far more of a challenge, just getting somewhere is a challenge, and no SoF nonsense. A lot of substance, and very little emphasis on slick looks. It's got something "honest" and "innocent" I often miss in the newer content.

I've been skeptical, but, indeed, it's great to see it back. It's simply fun.
