this is an awesome update,it about time to balance the rs economy by giving new players a chance at some cash in the future.
As of now the cheapest rare is in the 75m or so. There should be something a bit more affordable. The fish mask is the perfect fit, while many of us can no longer afford the insane prices that a partyhat brings. I feel that this allows players to give the same investment opportunity as older players.
At first, I was a bit confused about the update and really didn't care for the mask itself. However, i overlooked the ability it has to talk while fishing.
Love it or hate it, it adds a new feeling that was lost for over 10 years, the ability to bring new rares to a new generation that might play to earn a partyhat with hard work. New players are the lifeblood of the game, why should we not offer them something we had.

Glad to see you back, Couch! I had thought you quit forever. Many of my oldest RS friends have left, and my desire to play became less over time too, but it's nice to play here and there and see mature players still keeping this game enjoyable.

it makes me a indavidual sick of hearing all of you looking at all the bad all the time. and threatning to leave over some updates you all dont want to see made or want to disappear, no im not the best player but you dont see trying to tell jagex what to do. why? because its THERE game, should respect there wishes on this game. yes we pay for member-ship. but its only because we want to play there game. no one of forceing you to stay by the looks of it, alot of people play here every day. seeing some little peon's leave over some updates probly wouldent hurt, but might make people (including the j-mods) happy, so they dont have to deal with you guys enymore. but hey thats your choice. choose to cry on the side-lines, or get with the times. the money for these new updates they made fair and square, and now your telling them how to spend there hard earned money on how to better this game. heres a thought, why dont you try creating a game and see how it feels when someone trying takeing over your creation and leaves when it sucks?=) so you know how it feels."and you'd think they'd pay more attention to fixing their server lag than trying to shove that infernal wheel down our throats every week." they dont make you press the button you spin if you want."and as many others have said before me in this thread, get rid of this wheel, the vast majority of the playerbase do not want it." saying that because you have to have your way,no. tbh more people probly do aprove then dislike. if its the other way around it dont mean they should take it away, or better yet listen to a crying magget like your self on "how to better the game". when its clearly theres in the first place."crying about crying" yep thats it

Though im not happy about path to new rares in game I always thought it unfair that jagex allowed for rares early on but than said it was unfair practice. Maybe now we can see holliday items in some cases become a tradeable comodity.
Though Party hat owners im sure will rage there are alot more color hats than the party hats currently in game. Mr. Simax

I think its funny really,they remove dice from the game after they seen how addicting and dangerous gambling can be to the players,they remove dice and add this sqeal of shame,add themes and have sells on spins, jagex used to be against RWT and botting,but now they are the suppliers,why train wen i can buy 400 spins and get like 2m xp and 50m for 100$ and just a heads up to the players i bet soon mithril seeds will be discontinued jagex wants to be the only scamming host in the game they created.

there is one thing if got to say and 1 thing only i gurantee that half the people the are complaining once said to them selves "gosh i wish there was an easier way to get a sgs or a bgs or dragon platebody" and jagex as brought that to you and now you go and complain threatning to quit rs and saying the this is RWT a message to jagex as long as there are people using it keep it. plus its EXTREMLY rare to get a rare on the spin so its not effecting the econemy as much as the negative posts are saying they are and on top of that the rare weapons and armor are QUOTE "LUCKY" UNQUOTE and cant be trade in the ge. and if you dont like it dont use it
SO STOP COMPLAING
