Everyone didn't have a chance. I tried multiple times (during the last 3 weeks), and it only took me to the screen saying I have a current membership and offered extending by 1 month, 3 months or 6 months (with 3 and 6 months grayed out and not selectable. It said nothing about premier anything nor anything about bronze, silver or gold. I wanted the gold, and would certainly have done it, if I would have been able to get to the option. I tried several routes, as well as every link in the news item with no luck.

Reasons why I chose not to join the Premier Club:

12 months RuneScape membership:

I don't really want 12 months of membership all at once, plus the price was a bit extreme for me. And I don't have a problem at the moment with being charged once a month because I don't know how long I'm going to continue playing.

10% discount in Solomon’s General Store:

Don't we already get this discount?

An extra daily Squeal of Fortune spin (for a total of three):

I can live without an extra SOF spin per day.

Paladin armour and helmet, sword and shield:

I can live without cosmetic items.

Priority access to all RuneScape closed betas in 2013:

I doubt there will be any, and even if there are, I can just watch people do them on Youtube.

2000 RuneCoins:

Again, I don't care much for cosmetic items, and if I ever wanted Runecoins I could easily buy them.

A range of special cosmetic items:

Those membership card items? Again, I don't care much for cosmetic items.

Entry into a prize draw to win a trip for two to Jagex HQ (Cambridge, UK):

I have no intention of ever leaving the country just to meet people who work at Jagex, In my opinion this isn't worth signing up for the Premier Club.

Why would anyone care about a newsletter? I hardly ever use email and I doubt a lot of other people do either.

Was thinking about buying the Gold Premium for the year tomorrow but it seems it is already cancelled. :(

Please extend this another day or till the end of the week to maximize the amount of people able to purchase.

You were on holiday since it was announced back in December? Yeah, sounds like you messed up and are blaming Jagex even after that EXTENDED the cut off date by 4 more days.
