I'm sorry but the EoC has ruined Runescape for me. Now it is all about the combat whereas previously you could have a varied and enjoyable game with a minimum of combat and not have to worry too much about what method you used.

Now I see you have put up another 'forced' poll in that there is no 'none of the above' option. Unfortunately I can't 'spoil the ballot paper' so I just won't bother.

with this combat update.. it really is a lot to take in.. and for most people, it is way too much. i have to agree with many people on this forum that this update did nothing for runescape and many people are quitting because of it. i love runescape and i don't want to quit.. but with this update, i actually want to.

for a solution to make everyone happy, why not just make certain worlds have the new update and other worlds stay with the original? then everyone can choose what they want. also, why not post a poll up on the homepage and have people vote on this idea? you mightbe surprised to see that many people strongly would vote for the worlds to be divided up.

I've played 8 years, and being honest i think the eoc was a great idea. I admit i'm not a huge fan of 50% of the aspects of the update of how jagex have approached it e.g. There was no main page poll asking if we wanted the eoc and also how a lot of the game had glitches/bugs etc. on launch and still today has some without me even trying to find them baring in mind. I also don't like certian changes they've made e.g. the huge lp update, stats and bonus' change/update and how they are displayed and completely reworked. But overall after doing pvm for the past 5 years or so, i've grown bored of bossing, which is my main and probably only reason for playing runescape besides a couple of minor other things i enjoy, and after going to god wars dungeon day in day out it became dull and lifeless, but I have to be honest the eoc has made bossing a lot more fun.

On a side note, I think jagex should've had better time management on this project as a company, as I think it may have made the eoc run a lot smoother in terms of glitch's and general problems needing fixing/patching, and also it would've given the players a better out look on the update as they had more peice of mind it would be successful. Therefore I think jagex needed more time before releasing this update, especially as it would've probably gave them more breathing room so to speak.

"The contents of this message have been hidden." Jagex there is no reason to cover up what people are really saying about your EOC update. It made the game worse and it's the reality. Your losing and will continue to lose many players who have enjoyed the game for many years. I don't applaud you for ruining my bank by saying that Divine is equal to the other SS's. Losing 400M to allow brand new players to simply pick it up for cheaper takes the whole point of away. It, and the game have lost Value. I hope you do some rebalancing to increase value back to were it was. Otherwise, I'm done.
