Please bring the old Runescape back i really don't want to quit i just want the old back. but i feel u are give me no choice but to quit and thats making me sad. I never had a problem with your game before but this new EOC. It is not fun anymore things die in like one or two hits. What can u do to keep your players? 11/21/2012 5:30am est

Thanks Jagex, after 10 years of gameplay, I've never once Wanted to quit until now. You've finally ********* up so bad that 60k players quit. In one day. As I map said, the graphics all suck, players do look like sticks are up their ass. So many glitches, pkers die in 2 hits. Honestly, I played rs and was a member for 3 years for what it was. It's a complete different game now that EOC has come out. You can say your proud, but you can't be "proud" about your loss of long term members. Aka your income. PVP was all in ever did on my pure.. I just maxed out on him and can no longer even play due to how ****** the pking is. Thanks a lot ***ex. You ****** up bad.

Hello, I have to say for the years I have played runescape has been alot of fun.But
This new update is very confusing to alot of players and the players on runescape including my self do not want or like this new update.The new update people dont want to do combat because it's very confusing. which makes the game no fun at all.
I believe alot of players and myself would like to re vote as i talked to a few people
they never got a chance to vote for Eoc,including my self. I would like to see runescape
go back to the way it was .skip the new update ,I understand its alot of hard work .
But I know im not happy about the update and alot of other people are frustrated also.
is there a chance we can vote on again??? I think 95% people would say no yo the new update .Thank-you have a nice day.

Jagex could be using bots to make money themselves. They could own those sites that sell RS coins.

It could be why they are making updates to help bots.

Every time I report a bot, I see them the next day for the next several weeks.

Every time a bot and I go for the same recourse, he has about a 75% chance of winning.

Bots can now double team to steal monster loot.

And the update's entire purpose seems to be to drive off many human players so that bots can harvest in peace.

This way, they can sell the bot made money to the few remaining players.


This is a theory. I can't stress that enough.

Albeit, a good theory. I mean look at it. It looks true doesn't it? We need evidence.

Over the course of a few days you destroyed the game I have been playing over five years. I suggest that you return many of the worlds to the former style.

You know where the primary problems have been, the BOTS.....not the game. You are NOW a greedy business that is showing you have no loyalty to those who have supported the game for years.

I don't hate EOC, but at the same time I don't love it. There is so much you should have done before releasing this update such as, pressing enter every time you have to talk, Players should have the options to use the abilities verses normal combat, why drastically change the main hit to lower, why take away specials, why is my Enhanced excalibur stronger than a dragon defender, why do players who don't know the game very well get priority vote. Why would you make such a derp move?!

I think that some of these issues should be delt with.. I have to say that if not for momentum I would probably hate the new combat system.. I seriously think that these "polls" should only be open to veterans, because you are listening to some people who just joined the game.. Where as your vets know what the game should be verses someone who likes the future update and makes several accounts just to bring up the ratings..What is stopping them from having their friends make accounts and make it appear that this update is wanted when in reality 90% of your "LOYAL" players hate the content.. Just sayin' us vets need our voices heard.

Another question not related to this.. Why can't my profile stay logged in forums? I really hate typing my name in 100 times just to post a comment.

What you need to do now is have another in-game poll and realize how many people really dislike this new update. Many players are considering quitting that have never considered it before including myself. Not to mention many already have quite. The population in the worlds is so low... I can't remember the last time I saw the numbers of players so low. I remember when world 1 used to be full, and it was super hard to log into it, and the lowest populated world was like around 700-1,000.
If you truely listen to the people of Runescape you'll see that you don't have to ditch the EOC completely, but do know that you will have to make a ton of changes to make it what you guys intended it to be.
I Beg you guys to listen to the voice of the players, and work with us so that you can not only keep your players who have been playing for several years, but also be albe to draw in new players. So that we can get world one back to being full all of the time, and players that actually interact with each other.
Something really needs to be done, and it needs to happen quickly!
I probably won't quite, but I might actually play the game all that much. Instead I'll be doing what I'm doing now until I'm heard. I want to find a way to get through to you people, and make you understand the concern that the runescape community has.
