Yes, but the data was conveniently skewed. Only those players who were willing to try it, able to get through it, and hadn't already decided to quit were polled. The tutorial frequently had problems advancing for many people, who simply gave up after enough tries. Also, look at how many people have quit already, or are planning to quit, a a result of this. Statistics can say what we wish them to say, especially when we are able to control the sample population chosen. Perhaps Jagex should instead notice into which worlds players have logged to play. Beta worlds have not had a lot of traffic, short of those seeking the bonus xp promised for the academy. If it is so popular, why aren't the EOC worlds more crowded than the live game worlds? That's the more telling statistic.
