Sad, sad times... no need to change runescape in this way, it's thriving as it is. Been playing since 2003 and never fealt so pessimistic about the games future... This games going down hill... spent alot of time on the beta and hated 90% of the things about it... suppose i'll see how long i can bare it in the live game :(

My question is whats going to happen with items that were bought and used mainly for there special attacks, dragon claws for instance. No one uses them for any other reason other than their awesome spec, what kind of price change is going to happen with these items?

Come on guys... EoC is gonna happen live with it. To everyone who is "quitting" how much time have you actually spent in beta? Honestly I hated it too. I thought EoC was going to completely ruin Rs. Then i tried it again, and after a good friend explained it I started to enjoy it. Sure its a lot more complicated. We cant AFK slayer tasks now, or only focus on eating and prayer while killing bandos, but so what? It makes the game more exciting and just different. Will bossing be hard? Yeah it will. Good I say. That way only the truly experienced people can kill em. Leave the noobs out of it lol. My point is stick around a bit and see where it goes, you may end up liking it.

Also, to those of you who are actually quitting, then get off the forums. If you quit why are you still here. If you wanna quit, quit now, why wait till it actually comes out because EoC will not and never will go away. Live with it.

To those of you who are looking forward to this update, cant wait too see you all on November 20th, because we are the ones truly loyal to Rs.

Tell me you're not saying that the old combat system was more exciting than the new one

It was a freaking AFK fest unless you pked or bossed, and even then all you did was point and click.
Now you actually DO THINGS.

thats the point of runescape
having all these upgrades on the game is really pointless and will make jagex just lose customers.
for example.
addind dungeoneering reduce like 10% of the players
changing the armour graphics reduced 10% of the players
adding boring things to the game made atleast 10% of the players quit
now when you add eoc this game will lose 70% of the players and the game will be a total mess
and also this is starting to become into world of warcraft sooner or later they're going to add mounts and than mist of pandaria and this game will go downhill and will be forgotten and remembered as the 10 ****** video games of the year.

First off You have ruined the economy... not just changed it but ruined it.. people that had claws, godswords, high value spirit shields are taking a hit because again you have focused on giving new players the same abilities that high lvl players use..

You will keep watching the economy? you cant! unless you restrict the amount of gears/food/supplies are out and this seems to be a bad thing... if i see these changes coming i will quit and cancel my membership. Im very interested seeing the new combat system... but these Dramatic changes you are imposing will define this game forever... I hope it works if not RIP Runescape we had a good run!

PS. When you talk about economics please do your research on what it means!
