You're always doing things to mess with me! I'll never understand why the hell this stuff happens. I just went out and got 4x $10 cards so I could try bringing back my giveaways monthly even if at least to just the facebook "catherby clan chat" fan page to help boost traffic on that page, and you go and do this crap. I need a $25 card can't use a $10 or two $10 cards to unlock a free pet - no that would make too much sense.

God damn you Jagex!

Visa payers deserve it too. :(

so, there's all these nice rewards for players buying membership by card, what about all those very loyal members that pay by direct debit every month without fail. we members that pay by direct debit seem to get overlooked but we pay every month without a break in membership but we don't get any rewards for that, seems a little unfair to me.

Anyone complaining that the pet gives an advantage is either nitpicking or is jealous of those who have it. Everything it does, there is a summoning familiar that does the same much more efficiently. Also, if I remember correctly, you can't have any of the three new pets out in certain areas (minigames, bosses, etc).

Those complaining about not getting the pet while having had recurring payments taken for x amount of years and how the loyal members get nothing, you can still get it. Go buy one of the cards, apply it to your account, and enjoy your pet. You'll still have your recurring price locked in as long as you don't cancel recurring payments, and you won't be billed again until your membership runs out.

Although I likely won't be getting this pet, its a shame to see so many complaints over "advantages" or how "unfair" it is. Too many people complain anymore to the point of idiocy.

Also, anyone who is just going to use the member since date under my name as a means to find a flaw in my statement, don't even bother. I've been playing and paying for this game longer than the majority of you anyway.

@FYZE What summoning familiar grabs ores/herbs/seeds/misc items/logs etc all at once?

This is very much unfair for those of us that only pay by direct debit..there is absolutely no valid reason this could not have been added to the beta program for SOF and SOLOMANS also known as the "Loyalty Shop".

Loyalty is not a two way street apparently.

I also am a member since 2003 with a slight lapse in membership because my REAL LIFE SITUATION DID AFFECT MY GAME PLAYING at one point.

Gee that last bit.....where have I heard (Or read) something similar......??

I will be certain to make fun of the people buying these items as I and many others have been doing while it is still "Not against the rules" to do so.

People that purchase items are in many cases more likely to also be the ones supporting Goldfarming sites...AND by buying microtransactions you all can look forward to Jagex selling gold in the very near future and when THAT happens adios to all that made RUnescape a great game.

On the offer: I hope that my nearest ASDA will have them as my membership runs out in 10th of January.

The Feminist, he doesnt want the 2 pets from solomons store hes saying people like him and me pay constantly through card payments should get the same perks as buy membership cards. People who pay on and off sometimes take breaks or cant get a card therefor spend less on the game and they get rewards for it. I dont see why people who pay by card should be forced to buy a membership card they dont need for an in game advantage.
