I want to know why its 7.95 a month with a gold membership of 75 for the year when i only pay 5 dollars a month now and a year should only cost me 60 or even less with the discount for purchasing a year????? Being grandfathered in anyone else that is should have a different price to have to pay to reflect our price of what we pay, not the current price per month. So if it is discounted at the current price per month it should be discounted for the grandfathered in people's price we pay currently as well.

So, if I buy the Gold and then another prepaid card promo comes out, do I get those free items as well? I want the Gold package but I want the bloodpouncer as well. Please don't tell me I have to do both. I have been a staunch supporter of this game a long time but it is starting to look like its impossible to get everything without it costing 10 years worth of membership fees all in 1 year. Come on, don't let me down here.

And will RuneScape still be around 12 months from now?

At the current rate of decline I think wisdom should prevail with a "wait and see if Jagex is still around and if RuneScape is still around" attitude.

This looks like an act of desperation by a company that needs an influx of cash to remain viable, but that is only my opinion....

please awnser, can you make the package of 12 months in paybycash?

as u can see lots of ppl want the packages but dont have or dont want to use a credit card (online), make it be payable with more options.

You've been teetering on a slippery slope for awhile now Jagex and when I first saw the words "Premium Membership" on the homepage I thought you had finally gone over the edge. However, this really isn't that bad of an idea. I personally won't be buying any of the packages because I have a tendency to take long leaves of absence from the game and don't want to pay for it during those. I could see how this could be appealing to others though. Honestly if I had the time to play this game for a year without breaks, then I would probably purchase the gold package. Nonetheless, you've avoided slipping all the way down the slope yet again. Be careful.
