I have just played a round of killing the turkeys and i was wonder how do i get the thanks giving emote? When clicking the emote it says "This emote can be unlocked by playing the thanks giving event." My emote is not unlocked how do i unlock it?

I'm starting to believe the employee's at Jagex don't have an understanding of cause and effect.
Your event stirred up far more aggravation than anything for anyone but the childish trollers.

This better not end up like H'ween 2012, a remake of an earlier holiday event.

I will not participate in events where only a few can win. Only one person will win the turkey guess, and up to 4 will win the scavenger hunt. There are hundreds of thousands of active players on at any given time. It's simply not fun and it's not fair. I'd rather spend my game time skilling for xp that I know I'll get.
I also don't like time specific events like the Turkey takeover. I think all players should have equal chance of participation and rewards, and since we all have different schedules, the only way for that to be possible is for the event to be open 24 hours.

Turkey Takeover --- don't have time to waste hopping worlds to kill turkeys. i might as well kill chickens. no one will know i did this. no difference. no reward. except i suppose turkey meat but thats untradable i think!

Guess How Many (Dead) Turkeys! --- umm ok enjoy the hat to the winner!

Fansite Turkey Scavenger Hunt --- lol cant be bothered. good luck to everyone!
overall this isnt a real event. community events = time waste, but i suppose good for those who get the hat and the hunt rewards!

mike what's up with this man, why can't we use (e) bolt's in rune xbow's? fix this stuff. everything is messed up.

Congratulations Jagex, you guys have officially screwed them game for the majority of us veteran players. Makes sense why there are only about half the players on right now than there has been is ages. Nice job guys for ruining the game. Keep up the bad work.
