So I understand that Thanksgiving is purely an American holiday. I get that, so Jagex has celebrated Thanksgiving in the past with other holiday events. So why would they slap together a crappy holiday event that most people probably missed because they put so much emphasis on the EOC. I understand that the EOC was a massive update that required an immense amount of time and resources to put in place. But then they throw a crappy event in and call it the "Thanksgiving Holiday Event". The new forms of holiday events, in my personal opinion, are crap, and they should go back to the way they were doing them before, like a quest. But to me, as an American, I am offended with the lack of time put into Thanksgiving than other holidays. Like I said before, I understand the EOC required much time and effort, but if that was the case, then forego the holiday event. If Jagex doesn't have enough resources to adequately create a holiday event that is suitable, then they shouldn't do one. I didn't even do the thanksgiving event because I had no idea what is was, where it was, or how to even start the damn thing. So I am very disappointed with the way Jagex worked that. They could have done better but I guess, (quoting from early posts on this thread) they just got lazy. I'm very disappointed, if the holiday events are going to keep going like this, then it wont be long before I stop playing. I have seen a slow progression downward of the game and I have a feeling it will only be a matter of time before Jagex and I are no longer friends.
