Welcome to the fifteenth installment of T.U.O. recruitment thread! We are a P2P, EST time zone (American Eastern Standard/Daylight Time: -4:00/-5:00 GMT/UTC), community-based clan. We are an active clan that hosts daily events and is led by owners who have been part of the RuneScape community for over 11 years.
With that being said, were all Mature group of members ranging in the mid-20s, college students, working F/T, some have families. But still active and here to enjoy the game of RS3.

Rules of Order

Do not beg

- Respect others, as well as yourself, by making your wealth on your own. This includes asking for loans/item lends.

Follow all of JaGeX/RuneScape rules

- These rules help maintain the conduct and fairness within the game, as well as in the clan.

Keep clan chat discussions mature

- Please keep political and religion topics away clan chat as it can potentially lead to conflicts.

Listen/Respect to higher ranks at all times

- The ranks are there to help you out and enjoy your stay within the clan.

No clan drama

- Drama belongs on the stage, not in a clan.

Real life before RuneScape

- We don't want for RuneScape or our clan to be ahead of your life.

Respect everyone

- Treat others as how you would like to be treated.

Try to be cooperative

- Cooperation is key for any relationship to be successful.

Use common sense

- Everyone has it; not every person chooses to use it.

This is a close-knit clan. Some members have been in the clan since the early stages of TUO. When you join TUO, your considered a part of TUO Family.

How does one join TUO?

Simply copy the application below and fill it out to the best of your ability, then submit it as a reply to this thread. Be sure to read the whole thread to learn more about the clan before posting an application. Submit your answers with the questions after the dashes provided. Once you have posted your application, check back frequently to see if it has been accepted or declined. To speed up the application process, join our CC as a guest and ask for any one of our Admin+ ranks to review it.

Formalities

Being late to an event

- You will have 5 minutes from the time that an event has started to be able to come to the event late. If you come to the event after 5 minutes since the event has started, you will not receive any AP.

Bumping

- Bumping the recruitment thread helps us stay on the top of all the other threads on the "Recruitment - Social & Community Clans" subforum. By simply typing "bump" and replying to this thread, you push the thread go to the top - potentially allowing more people to view it. Be sure to give least 10 minutes after the previous person who has bumped.

Leaving the clan

- Upon leaving the clan for any reason, you will not be able to receive your AP back. If you decide to rejoin TUO, you will start once again as a recruit and will have to progress through the ranks anew.

Length of events

- To receive participation for being at an event, you have to be at an event for at least 40 minutes. If you don't show up or leave early, nothing will be held against you. All of our events are non-mandatory (besides meetings - see below) and it will stay that way. We use the "TUO Events" FC for the majority of our events.he majority of our events.

Events and What We Offer

What events do we have at TUO? We are a community based clan, so we offer events available for all sorts of players - skillers, PvMers, players that like to play mini-games, or simply people that enjoy a friendly community. By attending events with the clan, you get to know more of the clan members and who they really are - participating in group activities and develop everlasting friendships.

We look to accomodate most aspects in the game of RuneScape. Events that we offer daily are..

- Clan skilling
- PvM and Group PvM (**more focus on group PvM)
- Creative/Impromptu Events
- Minigames/Spotlights
- Citadel Tier 7 Utilization (incl. resource gathering)
- Allied events with other clans
- PvP (Player vs. Player)

As a clan, we offer you..

- Friendly and mature atmosphere
- Teaching and guiding each other in-game
- Daily events
- Bonus XP weekly (3%-6%) depending on fealty rank
- Fair based rank system
- Social environment in the clan chat

Ranking System

The ranking system at T.U.O. uses Activity Points (AP). These points reflect the amount of effort,time and loyalty you have contributed to the clan. There are a multitude of ways in which you can gain A.P. These points lead to opportunities where you can rank up within the clan. Remember minimum 1 AP per month.

~The methods you can gain AP are by..

• Attending Clan events (+4 per event)
• Impromptu PvM &/or Skilling Event w. admin+ (+3 per event)

• Capping at the Citadel (+2 per week)

- Recruiting (+5 to yourself/+3 to your recruit-{after 1month of staying} and recruiter)
**+3 A.P. will be given on the upcoming month for the new recruit*

(+2 per event, limit 10 per week)
• Bump Clan Forum
• Placing Vex on high populated areas

• Group PvM w. Clanmates

• Activity in Discord Voice Chat (min. 15minutes)

• Gaining 10M Clan Total XP (+1, per month)
• Participating in competitions (varies)

Total Experience in-game Milestones

While with T.U.O, passing these certain milestones of total experience gains will accrue A.P. overtime while.

• 50M XP gained = 50AP
• 125M XP gained = 100 AP
• 300m XP gained = 150 AP

Clarification of the Ranking System

Attending events

- Any event that you attend throughout the week that is listed on this forums thread will grant you 4 AP.

Bumping the recruitment thread

- To establish random sampling as a way to rank up, the last page every week on this thread will be chosen and those who have bumped it will receive 2 AP (limit 10 per week). Click Here

Capping at the Citadel

- Although this is not mandatory, we encourage our members to cap at the Citadel weekly. This will result in the benefits of you getting additional XP (3% to 6% BxP;depending on Clan Rank Fealty) and progress of upgrading our Citadel, as well as helping you rank up within the clan.

Participating in competitions that allow you to gain extra AP

- Throughout the year, we have various skilling competitions to promote the training of skills. Depending on how well you do during these competitions, AP (as well as GP) are distributed evenly to those who have shown effort in participating.

Recruiting

- For every clan member that you recruit into the clan, you will be granted 5 AP for your efforts. 3 AP will be given to the player you have recruited, after staying past 1month.

Suggesting events

- The clan is open to any Suggestions of Events. Were here to enjoy the game together and make you feel at welcome. By suggesting an event that you would like covered within the week, you will +3 AP per week for any events you suggest (limit 1/week). You will also be given +4 AP for attending the event you suggested. We love to cater your interests and do it as a group!

Rankings and What They Mean

Recruit (1 chevron)

Recruit of TUO
- Official member of the clan
- Can cap at the Citadel immediately

Corporal (2 chevron)

Soldier of TUO
- Achieved a total of 20 AP
- All ranks above this may start an event on the Clan Battlefield, operate the Party Room and Theatre, and are able to apply for staff positions within the clan

Sergeant (3 chevron)

Warrior of TUO
- Achieved a total of 50 AP

Lieutenant (bronze star)

Knight of TUO
- Achieved a total of 100 AP

Captain (silver star)

Paladin of TUO
- Achieved a total of 250 AP

General (gold star)

Veteran of TUO
- Achieved a total of 500 AP+
