Greetings and welcome to our recruitment and information thread!

We are open to those who enjoy skilling, to those who enjoy killing and to those who simply want chill and to make new friends!

It is our goal to provide a relaxed and supportive clan for all of our clanmates so they may achieve their goals in a friendly and fun atmosphere. We want everyone to feel like they are family and that their voice matters, because it does!

We are newly revived, so it is small and quiet at the moment, but there's plenty of room for growth. Originally formed by a group of friends who wanted a chill place to hang out.

If you are looking for a great group of people to hang out with in a relaxed way, without a lot of demands and requirements, we may just be the clan you are looking for. With no total level or combat requirements, anyone can help us build something awesome from the ground up.

Ideally we'd like to upgrade the citadel as often as possible. Like the rest of our events, helping at the citadel is completely optional, but if you'd like to help with upkeep and grab some free XP, please do so!

- Capping is not mandatory but it is highly recommend. It is a chance for you to gain xp and a chance for the clan to collect enough resources for vital upgrades.

- As we upgrade the citadel we will be eligible to unlock different skill plots and other benefits. That weekly xp boost sure is nice!

The clan member ranks in Mad Mates are distributed solely based on how long you have been in the clan, that means everyone progresses at the same pace. These ranks are solely a recognition of loyalty, not how many bosses you kill or levels you gain.

Recruit:
Rank gained upon joining

Corporal:
Retired or inactive

Sergeant:
1 week

Lieutenant:
2 weeks

Captain:
1 month

General:
2 months

Admin:
3 months

Organiser:
6 months+

Co-ordinator:
You can gain this rank by showing dedication to the clan. This rank is chosen by current Leadership through applications. Every member that has been with us for over 6 months can apply.

Overseer:
This is a leadership rank earned by showing great dedication to the clan. This rank is chosen by current Leaders.

Deputy Owner:
This is our highest leadership rank, earned by showing EXTREME dedication to the clan. This rank is chosen by current Leaders.

Our key aim is for a drama-free and friendly atmosphere so, while we're pretty laid back, we do have certain rules:

1.
Keep it friendly. We don't expect everybody to like each other but we do expect everybody to act like adults and keep the clan chat free of arguments. You will be asked to take any arguments to private chat.

2.
Jagex Rules must be followed, no exceptions.

3.
Respect of other clanmates is a must.

4.
Swearing is allowed in moderation, unless it is directed at another person or spammed in the clan chat.

5.
We are pretty open-minded about topics discussed in clan chat although religion and politics tend to create tension so are not permitted.... and neither is racism or anything else that has the potential to offend others.

6.
No begging (either for money or ranks)

7.
No luring / crashing / scamming other clanmates

8.
No spamming in cc (although we love to hear about levels gained or drops!)

Events are completely optional, there is no mandatory attendance. It's all about having fun. A couple examples of events are: skill 'n chills, minigames, treasure hunts, citadel capping and achievement parties.

Anyone, no matter their rank, may host an event. They may be planned, regular or even spontaneous.
