Hover over the community button on the ribbon, click on clan chat list, then the green dot bottom right of that window, then the join button and enter the name of the clan, or you could just add Von Bucholz or myself to your friends list and we can get an invite to you.

I have tried contacting you in game, but I assume you have not seen the messages.
There is an icon that has the figure of 2 heads on it, that is the community tab.
Like Jabbatat said, hover over it with your mouse and it will open up, the bottom left icon is for all chat, so if you click that you should be able to see when I message you.
Right click my message and add me to your friends list.
