Here's how to pick out a good watermelon:

1. Every watermelon has a yellow spot on it. This spot should be no bigger than your fist. If it is, that means it rolled around while growing, and that makes it less flavorful.

2. A dark green watermelon is better than a light colored one. It got more time in the sun.

3. You may occasionally see people tapping on the watermelon to see how it sounds. The less hollow (or more dense) the melon sounds, the juicier it is. However, most people don't really know what they're doing when they do this. I'll explain, but I don't recommend this method due to it's complexity.
If you don't pick up each melon and hold it the same way, it can affect how it sounds when you tap it, throwing off accuracy. You also need to do this with a lot of melons to get a good sense of which ones sound the most dense, and you have to remember which ones they are. And if all the melons are good, it might be hard to tell anyway.

Bananas are high in potassium, which has a naturally occurring slightly radioactive isotope. If you consumed 10 million bananas at once, you would die of radiation poisoning.

... Or your stomach would explode, but that seems unlikely.

The largest earthquake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 in Chile back in 1960.

This is nearly the maximum magnitude an earthquake can be on Earth. The Richter scale is exponential, with it each whole number being 10 times more powerful than the last. It is based on the length of the fault it occurs on, and no known fault is long enough to cause a magnitude 10 earthquake. If there was one, it would have to go almost around the entire world. The one in Chile was on a fault that is almost 1,000 miles long.
