What language is Chai?
In many Eurasian languages, chai or cha is the word for tea. This comes from the Persian چای chay, which originated from the Cantonese Chinese word for tea 茶 chá. (The English word 'tea', on the other hand, comes from the Teochew dialect of Chinese "teeh".)

First man in space. On 12 April 1961 Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space when he orbited the Earth once during a 108 minute flight. In 1960 Gagarin, a fighter pilot, was shortlisted for the Vostok 1 programme, which built on the success of Sputnik 1 just three years earlier.

How long does it take for your body to digest a piece of gum?
You might have heard that swallowed gum stays in your stomach for 7 years. That's not true. Though your stomach can't break down a piece of gum the same way it breaks down other food, your digestive system can move it along through normal intestinal activity.

How long did the flight to the moon take?
Apollo missions took about three days to reach the moon. But the quickest trip to the moon was the New Horizons probe, which zipped past the moon in just 8 hours 35 minutes on its way to Pluto. However, the spacecraft didn't even slow down or approach lunar orbit.
