Cos they have smelly feet!

(but in all seriousness, apparently male giraffes need them long necks to, um, gain momentum and swing them against other males during mating season) Proud member of

Fact about giraffes, the reason their necks are so long is due to evaluation they use to be the size of a normal horse now but over the years their necks got longer and longer in order to reach the leaves at the top of the trees they eat off of.
