Fun Fact of the Day
Saturn has the lowest density of any planet in our Solar System, lower than that of water. Because of this, it would float in a hypothetical pool of water that could contain a planet, whereas the other planets would sink.
This is because of its gaseous composition. However, Jupiter is dense despite a similar atmosphere because, above the mass of Saturn, the gravity of a planet increase its density. Planets that are more massive than Jupiter only get denser rather than larger.
